If a normal person would've stopped when they saw the tree coming straight at them, why did she continue on faster or normally? There weren't any cars around, as it wasn't a very busy street. And the road was blocked by an ordinary fallen tree. My mom tried to stop but it was too late....or so we thought. We went straight through the ghost tree. I looked back and my mom checked her mirror but the ghost tree had disappeared. Yeah, your posts aren't very consistent. She never actually stopped, like any sane person would do. I understand if she slammed her breaks, passed the tree, and then the car stopped.
