Imperial Knight of Wisel
This Blackwing rises from its nest in flurry of darkened feathers. It gains its power from its fallen avian commrades and swoops down on its enemy with a dark shadow the last one they ever see.

CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
Pretty good card. much better use of that picture and really good name, funny you use "Icarus" which is the name of the trap card lol
Kaisu
A bit overpowered if you ask me... This + Armed Wing + Armour Master + Sirroco = ... 0-O But yeah. Apart from that, pretty good actually.

Unnessecary.Pic- 9/10Name- 10/10ocg- 7/10OVERALL: 9/10 Actually it is necessary for this card because if someone were to use monsters other than Blackwings than they will think that they can summon it back when Icarus is destroyed. So its is kinda important

touzaikokon
You can reword the last sentence to say, "...if this card is destroyed, Special Summon 1 "Blackwing" monster that this card used as a Tribute." That seems more like something a card would say. Also, I don't need to say this, but this card would be broken if it weren't too slow. Because of that, it's not that great, and probably wouldn't see use. It's a shame that's how it is with most cards, especially over-powered archetypes (like Blackwings); there's a fine line between useless and broken, and it's very hard to get a well-balanced card. poopybuttoxes
Its effect is horrible. I would never use that card in a duel. The pic is so awesome. I dont see why you made it so crappy. Blackwing decks are about field control, and this card is hard to summon (bad), wipes out your field (VERY bad), and overall isnt worth using (makes making it a waste of time). 2/10 for the time put into it. And second, I thought that Blackwings were all about swarming the field. If they were really about field control, than they would shutdown my opponents side of the field like the Ojamas did. touzaikokon
I mean with the Blackwing's swarming ability that I could easily get Icarus out on the field. Yes, but once you've swarmed the BW's you need to Tribute this, you're probably better off just pushing for game, anyway. Blackwings are less about having one big face-smashing monster, and a lot of smaller, extremely annoying ones. That's the point of BW - swarm and annoy.
