Link and Aang [DISCONTINUED]

I just love crossovers. Don't ask me why, I just do. Anyway, Zelda and Avatar (The Airbender one, not the one with the blue people) have always been 2 series that I always thought go together.

The fanfic will take place in the Avatar world starting at episode 9 of season 2 in the TV show. I will be using the OoT and MM versions of the Zelda characters.

Just so you know, as of the first couple of chapters, it will simply be scenes of the TV show with Link's commentary. He and the other Zelda characters will have bigger roles later.

This will be based around Avatar's plotline, so if you're like Link and are not familiar with the series, prepare for some confusion.

[spoiler=Prologue]

Let's imagine for a second that the whole getting-stuck-in-the-sacred-realm-for-7-years fiasco didn't happen. The events leading up to it turned out a little differently.

The difference was that Ganondorf and Zelda both drew back to the Temple of Time right as Link pulled the Master Sword. Ganondorf began to make his move to the Triforce, but Zelda tried to get it first. They both tried to get it, but since there was so much instability, the Triforce exploded in a flash of light and Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf disappeared...

[spoiler=Chapter 1 (Incomplete)]

"You know this block you're having is temporary, right?" Katara was practicing Waterbending with Aang, and she often used this time to learn about Aang's personal issues.

"I don't wanna talk about it", Aang muttered. Earlier that day, he got in an argument with his Earthbending teacher, Toph, and Aang was in a bad mood because of it.

"You do realize that's the problem, don't you? If you face this issue instead of avoiding it-"

"I know, I know, I KNOW. I need to face it head-on, like a rock," Aang said, annoyed. "I just can't do it. I don't know why I can't, but I can't."

Just then, Aang noticed something out of the corner of his eye.

"Hey, Katara, did you see that?"

"Yeah, I see it too."

A small glimmer was steadily falling towards the pond they were in. Then, the glimmer turned into a green thing, and fell into deep water just a few yards away.

Aang went over and pulled it into the shallow water.

The green thing was an unconscious boy about 10 or 11 years old. He was wearing a green tunic and a green, floppy cap, and had a wodden shield and a sword with a purple hilt.

When Link awoke, he wasn't sure what was going on. Then he saw against the sunset a sillhouette, and he decided that this is when he would figure out what the heck was going on.

He decided to eavesdrop a little.

"Hey Aang, I found these nuts in your bag. I hope you won't mind. And even if you do, you're too much of a pushover to do anything."

"Actually", said another voice (Who Link assumed to be Aang), "I don't mind. I'm happy to share anything I have."

"Good. Because I also have this great new nutcracker."

Link looked and saw that the girl Aang was talking to had with her a staff that he assumed belonged to Aang.

"Actually, I'd prefer if you didn't [crack] It's an antique! [crack] It was handcrafted- [crack] It's a delicate instrument!"

"It's not the only delicate instrument."

With that, the girl with the first voice got up and started whacking the staff on some rocks.

"Jerk", Link mumbled.

The girl suddenly whipped around, and Link fell backwards in surprise.

Aang looked over at what was happening. "Sorry about that, Toph. He's just some kid we found washed up on the riverbank."

Link got to his feet. "My name's Link," he said to both of them.

Just then, another girl showed up.

"Hey Aang, it's almost sundown and Sokka isn't back yet," she said.

"We'll find him faster if we split up," Aang replied.

Link watched as they both ran off.

"Would someone please explain to me what the heck's going on?!?!" Link shouted.

EDIT: I think I should stop writing this fanfic. I might revisit it, but for now, this fanfic is over.

Well, I guess that since nobody else seems to want to read this topic so far, this is the perfect time to squeeze in a review. So let's take on this prologue with no knowledge on LoZ!!

WEATHER REPORT: BEGIN

[spoiler=Prologue]

Let's imagine for a second that the whole getting-stuck-in-the-sacred-realm-for-7-years fiasco didn't happen. The events leading up to it turned out a little differently.

I accept for now.

Okay. I was... expecting more. I... am I allowed to say anything here?

Alright, that felt mostly useless. I should really start looking at stories before I review them. Anyways, I know nothing about LoZ, like I said. But here, I can see what you're doing, but you did it in a horrible fashion.

For one thing, you should have shown, not told us what happened. Secondly, the wording is lame. One of them tried to get it, but the other one did too. Then they were both trying to get it, and then because the Triforce was unstable... for some reason... they all exploded into an alternate reality with martial arts and traditional elements.

Can that happen? I see that you have a '7-year period in a sacred realm', and there IS no good way to have a cross-over, buuuut... it still sounds so randumb. Yeah, random and dumb. There's no other way to explain it.

This may have been the most pointless WR yet, but you already know what you're doing wrong. So... uh... yep.
