New "Dark Magician" Synchro/incarnation. *Updated effect*

1 Spellcaster-Type Tuner + "Dark Magician"

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent must turn their Deck upside down. If your opponent would draw a Spell Card from their Deck during their Draw Phase, they send it to the bottom of their Deck instead and draw again. Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 Spellcaster-Type monster or Spell Card you control or discard 1 Spellcaster-Type monster or Spell Card in your hand to add 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard to your hand. If you Tribute this card, you can remove 1 Spellcaster-Type monster or Spell Card in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon this card during your next Standby Phase.

i like this card and im glad you still like the dark magicin even tho he is very old :D

his artwork is good altho he doesnt looks like dark magicin or have that circle around him like dark magicin

his effect is very good i think turning the deck around is a very good idea :D

9/10 i took away 1 point bcas the artwork is not like the dark magicin

I liked it, the effect is very nice and can finish your opponent quickly ^^

but 2900 ATK is a bit overpowered in my opinion.. lower a bit, or put some effect to lower it ATK ^^

Well, considering him being a level 9 Synchro, I didn't think his ATK was too bad. But I may bring it down a bit. Thanks for the comments.

 

Oh, and not even "Dark Magician of Chaos" looks like Dark Magician, although he does have that archaic circle-thing in the background, too.

Well isn't that usually how long duels last these days with the current meta game. If it goes on for more than 10 turns, its usually because exodia forgot he had an appointment in someones hand...

 

Anyway, onto this card. I love it, except for the whole damage part at the end. That kinda sends it over the top. I myself am a big spellcaster and fairy fan, but with that effect, i could easily use a bunch of pyro clocks of destiny's and shave off a good 4000 in one turn.

If you were going for that kind of feel, maybe you should just make a separate card for it. I love the feel of upside down and spell control you have on this one.
