Spoon
Hello there, I'm the new guy (who would've guessed that, seeing my post count at 1 after this), and I'm about to bring an all new set to you (if it has been made already, I appologize to whoever did it and hope he/she isn't to upset). Tekken has always been one of my favourite gaming franchises, and is by far my favourite Beat 'em up. The 6th installment of the series launched a while ago and threw some all new characters into the mix, as well as most of the old player's favourites. In the end, this set will probably consist of 41 cards (1 for each playable character), but may be expanded in the future if I can come up with some nice ideas (and pictures) for Spell and/or Trap Cards. Since this is my first set, be patient with me, even if the OCG is a bit off. I never really played YGO, I just watched the series once in a while and like creating cards. So, if you see any mistakes I made (OCG, pictures, my English (not a native speaker), other random stuff), please be so kind and tell me, not just rate it with a 1/10 without giving it a second thought. I'm up for any suggestions you throw in, here or via PM, and I'm willing to edit my cards that way. Now that this is out of the way, I want to introduce you to the first 10 (randomly chosen) cards of the set. I'll wait for the first reactions before I post more. Here we go: Every single of the 41 Fighters of the newest installment of the Tekken series has his or her own card. Lore is included, and hopefully you can help me fixing some of the minor or major errors, if you can find any (I bet you will). Technically, they could now fight each other to the death... who would win? Tell me who you think would win this tournament in terms of originality and strength of the effect and the overall coolness!

In your Standby Phase, you can discard 1 Spell Card from your hand to increase the ATK of this card by 500 until the end of turn. When this card is destroyed by battle, return 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand.

When this card is selected as an attack target but not destroyed by that battle, put 1 "Revenge Counter" on it. When this card attacks, increase its ATK by 500 for every "Revenge Counter" on it during Damage Step.

In your opponents Battle Phase, you can pay 800 Life Points in order to change the position of a Defense Position Monster your opponent controls and force it to attack this card. The effects of the selected monster cannot be activated until the end of Damage Step.

When an Equip Spell Card is equipped to this card, destroy that card. Every time this card destroys a monster in battle, put 1 "Self-destruction Counter" on your opponents Deck. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, send as many cards from your opponents Deck to the Graveyard as there are "Self-destruction Counters" on it.

When this card is succesfully Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Panda" from your hand or Deck to the field in face-up Defense Position.

When this card is Special Summoned, reduce its ATK and DEF by half.

This card cannot be destroyed by battle with a monster whose ATK is 1900 or less (damage calculation is still applied normally). Whenever you lose Life Points due to a battle with his card, draw 1 card.

You must pay 500 Life Points or discard 1 card each time you want to attack with this card. When an Equip Spell Card is equipped to this card, destroy that card. This cards ATK and DEF cannot be altered by the effect of Monster, Spell or Trap Cards.

When this card attacks, it always attacks the lowest value (ATK or DEF) of the target, regardless of its position.

When this card is Normal Summoned, select a monster in Defense Position your opponent controls. Said monster cannot change positions and its DEF is decreased by 500 as long as Armor King remains face-up on the field. _________________________________________________

Monsters your opponent controls cannot switch positions as long as this card remains face-up on the field. When this card attacks, reduce the DEF of every other monster your opponent controls by 700 until the end of turn.

Increase this cards ATK by 300 for each card in your hand. You can tribute this card in order to draw 2 cards.

When this card destroys a monster in battle, draw 1 card. If its a monster Card, this card can attack once more during this battle phase. If its a Spell or Trap Card, discard it.

When this card destroys a monster in battle, the owner of that card has to discard 1 card from his hand, send 1 card from his Deck to the Graveyard, and remove 1 card from his Graveyard from play.

When this card attacks, its attack cannot be interrupted, negated or changed target by the effect of Spell or Trap Cards. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent.

This card can be set in face-down attack position, while still being able to attack.

Once per turn, you can switch the ATK and DEF value of this card. If done so, it cannot attack this turn.

When this card is attacked, you can select another monster you control whose level is 4 or lower. The attacking monster is forced to attack the selected monster instead.

When you control a face-up "Julia Chang", increase this cards ATK by 900. When a "Julia Chang" you control would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.

When this card inflicts damage to your opponent, look at your opponents hand. Select 1 Monster or Trap Card and send it to the Graveyard. _________________________________________________

When this card battles a monster with Level 5 or lower, remove that card from play without applying damage calculation.

This card can attack monsters you control. This card must attack each turn if there is any other monster on the field. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to the controller of that card.

When a Monster you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent in your battle phase, this card can attack him directly until the end of turn.

When this card did not attack in your turn, put 1 "Counter Attack Counter" on it. When this card is attacked, remove 1 "Counter Attack Counter" from it to destroy a monster with 1300 ATK or less your opponent controls.

Increase this cards ATK and DEF by 400 for every card with "Mishima" or "Kazama" in its name in your and your opponents Graveyard.

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, increase the ATK of every other Warrior-Type monster by 700. When this card is selected as an attack target or as a target for the effect of a Monster, Spell or Trap Card while it is in Attack Position, you can switch it to Defense Position until your next End Phase to negate that attack/effect.

When you draw a card, put 1 "Drunken Fist Counter" on this card (max.: 4). You must remove 1 "Drunken Fist Counter" from this card in order to attack. When this card is attacked, remove 2 "Drunken Fist Counters" to negate the attack.

When this card is Summoned, select 1 Warrior-type or Beast-Warrior-type on the field. This cards ATK and DEF become equal to the selected monsters original ATK and DEF. This cards ATK and DEF cannot be altered after this effect was activated.

When this card is attacked by a Warrior-type or Beast-Warrior-type monster, discard 1 card to negate the attack. If you used this effect, toss a coin and call it. If you called it right, destroy the attacking monster. If you called it wrong, discard 1 additional card.

When this card is destroyed by battle, inflict half of its original ATK as battle damage to your opponent. When this card is destroyed by the effect of a Monster, Spell or Trap Card, your opponent has to discard 2 cards. _________________________________________________

When this card attacks a Fiend-Type or DARK-attribute monster with 2400 ATK or less, increase this cards ATK by 500 until the end of Damage Step. If this card is destroyed by battle with a Fiend-Type or DARK-attribute monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of the attacking monsters ATK.

When this card attacks, put 1 "Kick Counter" on it (max.: 2). In your battle phase, remove 2 "Kick Counters" from this card in order to attack twice during this battle phase.

Increase this cards ATK by 300 for every Beast-Warrior-Type monster in your Graveyard. In addition, if a Beast-Warrior-Type monster on your field is sent to the Graveyard while this card remains face-up on the field, put 1 "Growl Counter" on it (max.: 3). In your opponents Main Phase, remove 3 "Growl Counter" from this card. Your opponents monsters cannot attack in this turn.

FLIP: Destroy a monster in face-up Defense Position with 1000 DEF or less. Draw cards equal to the level of that card.

When this card is attacked, you can pay up to 500 Life Points in order to increase its ATK by twice the amount of Life Points paid until the end of turn.

In your Battle Phase, you can discard 1 card to put 1 "Powered Up Counter" on this card (max.: 5). If you did so, this card cannot attack in this turn. When this card attacks, remove all "Powered Up Counters" from it and increase its ATK by 500 for each Counter you removed that way until the end of turn. If you removed at least 3 Counters, your opponent ash to discard cards from his hand equal to the amount of Counters removed.

This card cannot be selected as an attack target by a monster with 2000 ATK or more. When this card is destroyed by the effect of a Monster, Spell or Trap Card, look at the upper 3 cards of your Deck. Arrange them in any order and put the back on your Deck.

This card can attack your opponent directly. It cannot attack in the turn it was Summoned. _________________________________________________
Kazuya Mishima]
This card can attack each monster your opponent controls once per turn. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card, inflict 2000 damage to the owner of that card.
Jin Kazama]
In each of your standby phases, put 1 "Devil Counter" on this card (max.: 5). Remove 5 "Devil Counters" from this card and send it to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon a "Devil Jin" from your hand, Deck or Graveyard to the field.
Devil Jin]
This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Jin Kazama". When this card is succesfully Summoned, remove every Spell and Trap Card on the field and in both Graveyards from play. Neither you nor your opponent can use Trap or Spell Cards as long as this card remains face-up on the field. When this card is destroyed by battle, return "Jin Kazama" from your Graveyard to your hand. As you can see (maybe, maybe not) I tried to arrange the levels of the cards by importance in this game/in the overall series. Though, sometimes, my personal opinion got in the way ("Miguel will never, NEVER be a lousy Level 1 character... NEVER!"). Hope you liked them, and if not, please tell me why :D Sincerely yours, Spoon
owning y0u20
Not bad. My problem is only that Armor King. People say to base levels on ATK, but I base it on combined ATK and DEF. Either lower Armor King's stats or make him Level 3. Lee Chaolan should be Level 7. Nice and balanced. Hmm... OCG is great, pics are great but they could use more background than one color. They're still better than 99% of my sonic cards!(black or white mostly). Keep up the good work 9/10!
Spoon
Thanks for your opinion, and thanks for that high rating as well :D That level thingy always confused me a little, so the relation of ATK/DEF to level might be a bit off... or completely wrong cause I just made it up randomly :p Is there a guide (or just a quick table) where I can look that up? The thing about the backgrounds: I took official Artworks, which, mostly, come with a white background (which is frowned upon in here as far as I know) or with this 1-colored thing. And since my editing skills with GIMP or Paint.NET are technically 0, I thought it would be best to stay with the standard stuff for now. Maybe, if I have the time, patience and will to learn that stuff, I'll give it a shot. So long Spoon
Spoon
Since there are 10 more cards (starting with our beloved growling Wrestler King) to rate and comment on, I guess it would be best to let you know that ;) Those cards may have the same flaws that were stated by Owningyou, but I want to share them anyway. Again, if you have some guidelines or links regarding this ATK/DEF <-> Level issue, please let me know. So, here they are, have fun, and: Comment, comment, comment. Even if you think they're total rubbish. I need YOUR opinion! (Yeah, yours. You know who I mean. You! Yes, exactly, you, just reading this lines. Comment, or else... well, you dont wanna know, but it could be painful... and it could tickle sometimes...) So long, yours truly, Spoon
Spoon
Still no comments... c'mon, don't disappoint me :?10 other cards added, everything else in the first post (bolded) :) So long Spoon
Spoon
*bump* I'll add the Lore to all cards (and the rest of the cards) tomorrow. Minor fixes regarding OCG inclusive (thanks to DHeroDogma). I guess there won't be any Spell or Trap Cards in this set, unless somebody comes with a nice idea and wants to share it. Spoon
*Bump* Can't be that there is only 1 comment on a complete set... isn't anybody interested in Tekken? Well... probably not... but I won't give up :D So long, Spoon
Мερhilεs
I honestly don't know what Tekken is, sorry, but these are some pretty sick cards! Most seem balanced, but I think (personally) there is no official table for ATK/DEF <-> Level table. I believe you should use your own discretion. Spoon
I honestly don't know what Tekken is (...) Shame on you :D No' date=' it's alright... just a Beat 'em up, made by Namco, long tradition and all... but these are some pretty sick cards! Most seem balanced, but I think (personally) there is no official table for ATK/DEF <-> Level table. I believe you should use your own discretion. Thanks for your compliment (I guess it was one...) :) And well, if there is no official statement, I'll just keep it that way. Aaaaaand *bump* So long Spoon

MatuZoro
I love these cards! very well put together! Im doing a WWE pack, and needed ideas for effects. I grew up with the tekken games and recognize most of these characters. I like the Devil Jin card especially for its effect.
FF Fan
I don't understand Baek's effect. How can it be if it's a Spell or Trap card? You can only attack monsters. The OCG needs fixing on it too.
