Scraps?

Scraps are good because:

Chimera + Beast = Instant Scrap Dragon, which is nice

Squall sets your Graveyard up quickly and is generally a nice card, especially being a quickplay which makes it good for dodging things like B-Con.

Golem and Goblin make Dragon, or any other level 8 Synch. This can be set up instantly when Scrap Dragon dies, allowing you to almost loop it.

Golem and Beast make Twin Dragon

They can use things like Wild Tornado or Geartown that activate when destroyed since Scrap Dragon works with them.

tl;rd- Archtype is based entirely around getting Scrap Dragon out, then using Scrap Dragon a lot.

Not quite.

Scraps seem to be able to generate A LOT of hand advantage, provided, you -1 from the field a few times.

Plus, in the next pack, Scrap Searcher and Twin Dragon are released. More awesome cards that benefit from destroying your own cards.

Yes, but you're dedicating your Deck enough to Scraps that all the hand advantage is good for is Scrap Dragon-related things.

Twin Dragon is just Scrap Dragon when you have an extra level.

Good hand is something like Chimera, Beast, Squall, so you can Squall the Beast during your opponent's turn, then Dragon next turn, or something. The only builds I would ever expect to OTK are Geartown builds which suddenly throw 2 Gadjitrons and something else at you.
