He stole hundreds of cards from people. Card trade was used by sending cards to people through the mail. After agreeing on the details and just taking the cards without giving anything in return is stealing. It's also considered tampering with the mail, which is a federal offense. It's a felony. (Or at least it is in America. I imagine it's illegal in other countries as well)

please' date=' has anyone here heard of silverboy?

scammed about 600 good cards off people, i believe.

currently named "Cyberdude"

HE IS HISTORY

I remember that. I'm surprised he didn't get any punishment legally and on the forum after committing a federal offense.

I remember that too....:/

This is probably the most memorable ban of all time.

You mean nukyasu? HORUS getting banned and all the bans from the Sartorism-thing where more memorable than this. Even masta/goggler's ban was more memorable than this. Well' date=' it least it was for me. Anyway, I don't really have anything [i']important[/i] left to say, so I'll just shut up. :P

Up there are also the bans of Johanderson and Gist. This is quite minimal to that.

Gist's ban(s) was THE single most memorable ban that ever occured on this forum, and this has not changed.

And theres flaws to the mail fraud laws Slime. This is an action, that all short one of my IRL yugioh friends have engaged in, and NONE got in trouble. At one point, Gist received two packages with Delivery confirmation, and at least 10 more without, all of which should have filed fraud. Nothing happened, for 1, no money was involved, and 2, hes a minor, so its a lot harder/not legal to charge him of this specific crime. (The same way a minor cannot sign a contract without parental consent).

So don't make mail fraud appear as bad as it is, I wouldn't have a trooper if my good friends weren't involved in this.

Oh, and what Cyberdude did was beastly, epic 289 (according to card trade official thread) card hustle. Though immoral, the porportion of such an action is just... ridiculous. haven't seen him on much though.

I beg to differ. The repercussions from Johan's ban have been seemingly endless, with the man often quoted as the worst rule-breaker in the history of the site. He was a parton of seeming perfection and was completely corrupted by the reputation system. Gist, on the other hand, was just one of many victims of my wrath, and was meerly one link in the chain of Sartorism.
