Spoon
Hello everybody, this time we'll talk about Jump and Runs. Those good old games where you just had to jump on your opponents head or eat it with your insatiable hunger... eh... something's not right there. This set asks everydays questions, such as: "Sir Daniel, what are you about to do with this sword?" "Tim, can't manipulating time lead to a time paradox?" "Gex, what's with this TV obsession of yours? "Hey Mickey, my all-time favourite Cartoon character... eh... why are you holding a Paint Brush?" Things like that. You won't find any Sonic, Megaman or Mario in here, because I thought we have enough of those. This set is for the more overlooked Heroes, or those which are quite young and unexperienced. Childhood memories and new fun and addicting platformers meet right here. This set is still in development and far away from being done, but it may also have a lot of flaws. OCG, grammar, pictures, balance, anything. If you think something's not just right, tell me, I'm open for any constructive criticism :) So, here ya go, the first 5 cards of this new set (and this time it includes Spells and Traps as well): Tim (Braid) added!Nameless Boy (Limbo) added! [spoiler=Sir Daniel Fortesque (Medievil)] [spoiler=Lore:] This card is also treated as a Warrior-type Monster. When this card is Special Summoned from your Graveyard, increase its ATK by 1000. [spoiler=Lore:]You can only activate this card when "Sir Daniel Fortesque" is selected as an attack target. Send the attacked monster to the Graveyard and negate the attack. In the Standby Phase of your next turn after activating this card, Special Summon 1 "Sir Daniel Fortesque" from your Graveyard to your field in face-up Attack Position. [spoiler=P.B. Winterbottom (The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom)] [spoiler=Lore:]When this card is succesfully Summoned and the only monster you control, Special Summon 4 "Clone Tokens" (DARK/Spellcaster-Type/Level 1/0 ATK/100 DEF) on your side of the field. When this card would be destroyed by battle, destroy 1 "Clone Token" instead. During your Standby Phase, you can Summon 1 "Clone Token" if this card is the only Non-Token monster you control. [spoiler=Lore:]You can only activate this card when you control a face-up "P.B. Winterbottom". Destroy every "Clone Token" you control and increase your Life Points by 600 for every Token destroyed that way. [spoiler=Lore:]You can only activate this card when you control a face-up "P.B. Winterbottom". Increase the ATK of every "Clone Token" by 800. If a "Clone Token" is destroyed by battle, inflict 400 damage to your opponent. [spoiler=Rayman (Rayman)] [spoiler=Lore:]Whenever this card attacks your opponent directly, you can draw 1 additional card in your next Draw Phase. If that additional card is a monster with a level of 2 or lower, increase this cards ATK by 500 until the end of turn. [spoiler=Lore:]Special Summon 2 "Raving Rabbid Tokens" on each players side of the field (EARTH/Warrior-type/Level 3/1000 ATK/800 DEF). Those tokens have the following effect: This token is unaffected by the effects of Spell or Trap Cards. When this token is destroyed by a battle with another "Raving Rabbid Token", both players draw 2 cards, discard 1 card, decrease their Life Points by 1000 and increase the ATK of every other "Raving Rabbid Token" by 800 until the end of turn. [spoiler='Splosion Man ('Splosion Man)] [spoiler=Lore:]When this card attacks or is attacked, put 1 "'Splode Counter" on it. When there are 3 "'Splode Counters" on this card, destroy it. [spoiler=Lore:]You can only activate this card when a "'Splosion Man" you control destroys an opponents monster by battle. Remove all "'Splode Counters" from that card. [spoiler=Lore:]You can only activate this card when a "'Splosion Man" you control is destroyed by battle. Instead of sending it to the Graveyard, return it to your hand. You can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 1 "'Splosion Man" from your hand to the field immediately. [spoiler=Croc (Croc: Legend of the Gobbos)] [spoiler=Lore:]When this card is succesfully Normal Summoned, you can return every other monster on the field with a Level of 2 or lower to it's owners hand. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 monster with a Level of 2 or lower from your hand to the field. [spoiler=Lore:]When you control a face-up "Croc", Special Summon 2 "Gobbo Tokens" to your side of the field (LIGHT/Fairy-type/Level 1/0 ATK/500 DEF). In your next Standby Phase, remove those tokens. For every token removed that way, increase your Life Points by 1000. [spoiler=The Maw (The Maw)] [spoiler=Lore:]When this card destroys a monster by battle, put 1 "Maaaaaw Counter" on this card. Its ATK and DEF is raised by 600 for every "Maaaaaw Counter" on it. [spoiler=Lore:]You can only activate this card when you control a face-up "The Maw". Destroy a monster with a level equal or lower than the number of "Maaaaaw Counter" on "The Maw". After that, put 1 "Maaaaaw Counter" on it. [spoiler=Lore:]This card can only be equipped to a "The Maw" you control. That monster cannot be selected as a target for the effects of Spell or Trap Cards. Whenever a "Maaaaaw" Counter is added to that card, increase your Life Points by 300. [spoiler=Mickey Mouse (Epic Mickey)] [spoiler=Lore:]When this card is succesfully Summoned, choose one of the following effects: - When this card destroys a monster in battle, that card is removed from play. Your opponent is forced to select 1 monster with a level of 4 or lower from his/her Graveyard and Special Summon it to the field. He/She has to pay 500 Life Points multiplied with the level of the selected monster. - Change this cards attribute to LIGHT. Every monster destroyed by a battle with this card is sent back to the owners hand. When it destroys a monster in battle, select 1 monster with a level of 4 or lower from your Graveyard and Special Summon it to the field. You gain 500 Life Points multiplied with the level of the selected card. [spoiler=Lore:]Both players can select 1 monster with a Level of 6 or lower from their Graveyards and Special Summon them to the field. The selected monsters cannot attack until their owners next End Phase. [spoiler=Lore:]Remove a monster your opponent controls from play. Every other monster with a level of 4 or lower has its ATK increased by 800 until the end of his turn. [spoiler=Gex the Gecko (May contain PG 13+ content! Beware, young, innocent children!)] [spoiler=Lore:]Pay 500 Life Points to look at your opponents hand. For every Trap Card he/she has on his/her hand, inflict 500 damage to him/her. This effect can only be used once per turn. [spoiler=Lore:]This card can only be equipped to a face-up "Gex the Gecko" you control. Increase the ATK of said card by 700. If that card would be destroyed by battle, you can discard 1 Spell or Trap Card from your hand to roll a 6-sided dice: - 1 or 2: Negate the attack. - 3 or 4: Destroy the attacking Monster. - 5 or 6: Both players discard their hand. [spoiler=Lore:]This card can only be activated if you control a face-up "Gex the Gecko". When your opponent wants to use the effect of a Monster Card, he/she has to toss a coin and call it or pay 500 Life Points in order to do so. If he/she selects the coin toss and calls it wrong, the effect is negated. [spoiler=Tim (Braid)] [spoiler=Lore:]When this card was sent to the Graveyard in your opponents last turn, pay 1000 Life Points to return every card in every Zone to their coherent places from your last Main Phase 2 (except this card, Life Points stay unaffected). You can use this effect only in your first Main Phase 2 after this card was sent to the Graveyard. [spoiler=Lore:]You can only use this card in your opponents End Phase if you have lost a total of 2000 or more Life Points on your opponents last turn. Regain the same amount of Life Points lost. This card is then returned to the bottom of your deck. [spoiler=The Nameless Boy (Limbo)] [spoiler=Lore:]When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon it to the field in face-up Defense Position in your next Standby Phase. If this effect is used, search your deck for a level 1 monster and add it to your hand. [spoiler=Lore:]Equip this card to a monster with a level of 4 or lower on the field. This monster is treated as if it lays in your Graveyard. That card cannot be selected as a target for an attack. Thats it for now. I'm hoping for many comments and ratings... please :) So long, yours truly, Spoon

Spoon
The OCG could use some worksomehow the pics look cool7.5/10 Thanks for the comment. But "OCG could use some work" doesn't help me. If possible' date=' tell me where exactly I made a mistake. Since I'm new to this material, I'd like to get some advices on that. Medievil fan, I see? Good set so far. Would love to see some Oddworld cards on here. 10/10 Thank you very much, that's more than I deserve :D I already made an "Abe" card, but since I want to expand every card with one or two supporting cards, he still lurks in the dark... or farts in the dark, whatever you prefer :p Expect to see the next cards in about 3 - 5 hours. Shizuku Oikawa
ok then,"When this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard""You can only activate this card when "Sir Daniel Fortesque" is selected as an attack target. Spoon
Much appreciated, will fix that right away :) I'll try to fix the rest myself (at least from the things I can see now), but if you have the time (and patience :p), I wouldn't say no (and maybe pay for it, if thats how the things work here) to a little correction here and there :D So long, Spoon
krazyxgamer
lol funny cards xDi think u should change the effect of Splode from behind to:"You can only activate this card when a "Splosion Man" you control destroys an opponent`s monster by battle, remove all "Splode Counters" from that card." or something like that idk.. it just seems a bit odd the way it is right now lol now i dont have good OCG either so dont completely rely on what i said lol sorry but i like the picsand just to tell u Rayman is OP, things that skip your opponent`s draw phase has to be harder to activate than just attacking directly, you probably know about "Yatagarasu" lol xD ppl made a deck just for the lockdown with that card lol now i know that there are cards like Arcana Force The World that lets you skip your opponent`s turn itself, but you have to tribute 2 monsters for that and that`s a bit of a pain in the ass... AND you have to get Heads on the coin toss too and some ppl just dont have the luck lol overall good stuff 8.5/

I'll consider it and change the text later (read: tomorrow, it's late over here). but i like the picsand just to tell u Rayman is OP, things that skip your opponent`s draw phase has to be harder to activate than just attacking directly, you probably know about "Yatagarasu" lol xD ppl made a deck just for the lockdown with that card Orly? Didn't consider that. That, of course, sounds logical and must be changed. But not now, I'm tired :p overall good stuff 8.5/10 Thank you very much, your criticism is appreciated :D So long, keep commenting, I need it... really. Good night, good... eh... yeah, whatever. ChaosInfinity
Great cards.I'm not sure Sir Dan should be a Level 7, though. Even when his effect activates, he still only has 3300 ATK and 0 DEF, which is pretty acceptable as starting stats for a Level 7 monster anyway. With Fortescue's Trap card, did you mean it to be "The Cowards Escape", (verb) as in "there are cowards and they are escaping", or "The Coward's Escape" (noun), as in "an escape used by a coward"? I have a feeling you meant the latter, so better stick that apostrophe in there. For the P.B. Spells, "your field" should be "your side of the field". Also, "control a [blahblah] on your field" is redundant; it's a given that it's on your side if you control it. Just say "when you control a face-up "P.B. Winterbottom"."Winterbottom himself has a problem with his last sentence. Or rather, a few problems, so I'll just rewrite it, shall I? "During your Standby Phase, you may Summon 1 "Clone Token" if this card is the only... (blahblahblah)."And the biggest affront of all......IT'S PIE! NOT CAKE!!!! D=< I agree with krazyxgamer about Rayman, couldn't be bothered with the effing Rabbids, Splosion Man is awesome. Good set so far. Would love to see some Oddworld cards on here............................. How did I not think of this before?I luvs Abe's Oddyssey and Exoddus. Munch's Oddyssey was meh, I rescued everything on it even though it wasn't that great. Haven't played Stranger's Wrath, though. So I might make some based only on the first two games. Yes?Well, maybe some Munch's too. Big Bro Sligs and Fuzzles are too good not to include. =P That is, unless you have an objection, Spoon...? EDIT: I have been totally unable to find a decent pic of a Crawling Slig, or even a video containing one I could screencap.... Anyone know of one anywhere? Spoon
Goood morning everybody :) Gawd, thats some comment you left right there, ChaosInfinity... so let's see what we can do with it: I'm not sure Sir Dan should be a Level 7, though. Even when his effect activates, he still only has 3300 ATK and 0 DEF, which is pretty acceptable as starting stats for a Level 7 monster anyway. Hmm... you could be right (probably you are), but since I'm still waiting for a decent table of the ATK/DEF <-> Level ratio, I'll leave him at that for now. It's a minor change anyway. The latter, stupid apostrophes... will fix that. (blahblahblah). Will fix that, thank you very much. IT'S PIE! NOT CAKE!!!! D=< Wuuut?! Since I only have the german version (and there it's always "Kuchen", which translates in both, pie and cake) that mistake may be forgivable. But I'll fix it anyway. I luvs Abe's Oddyssey and Exoddus. Munch's Oddyssey was meh, I rescued everything on it even though it wasn't that great. Haven't played Stranger's Wrath, though. So I might make some based only on the first two games. Yes?(...) That is, unless you have an objection, Spoon...? Please do, I can keep my "Abe" card for myself, and since I couldn't come up with some decent Spell or Trap Cards if my life depends on it, take the turn and make a set... and don't forget the farting :p Thanks for your comments, I have some fixing to do, and some new cards as well ;) So long, yours truly, Spoon Edit: I think I fixed everything now... hopefully. Shizuku Oikawa
I know Tim's effect has to be corrected, but to be honest, I have no idea how it even worksCan you explain how it works? Then I'll probably be able to correct it.
Spoon
Oh, is it that hard? Well, I'll try it: If Tim is in your Graveyard and it was destroyed in your opponents last turn (most commonly by a battle), you can pay 1000 Life Points to go back in time to your last Main Phase 2. Which includes every card in every zone of the field (cards drawn, cards activated, cards set and monsters summoned, destroyed or removed from play, Counters added and so on). Exceptions are this card (because you could use this effect over and over... would be kinda stupid... maybe I should add "remove this card from play"?) and the Life Points of both players (why paying 1000 if they are replenished anyway?). You can use this only in your Main Phase 2, and it starts in your Main Phase 2 of the turn before this card was destroyed. Pretty simple, isn't it? :P Of course, it's hard to actually use it if the turn was a long and intense one... but hey, it should be possible after all :D Any questions left? After all, this card was more or less an experiment, and I'd be glad if you could correct the OCG on this card ;) So long, Spoon

I won't be around for the next 3 days, but I left something quite new for you to comment on. Limbo is a neat little new game with a beatiful artstyle... and that's about it. It's short, but it's fun... and it's something to think about, even after the end credits rolled. Spoon
Aaaaaand *bump* No new cards because we can't save them at the moment. So long, Spoon
Spoon
*bump* No cards added. I have a Crash Bandicoot card done, but I'm not happy with the picture of his supporting cards, namely "Aku Aku" and "Uka Uka". If you can provide me with some high quality (or at least decent quality) pictures, I'd be very happy... kind of :D Other than that, I'm running out of ideas. I had planned cards for "Earthworm Jim" and "Klonoa", but since I never played one of those games, its pretty hard to create decent effects and come up with some original Spell or Trap Cards to support them. If you have any ideas for cards that are currently missing, I'd be happy to hear them! Of course you'll be given credit for your idea, you can create the card and contribute it or just tell me the effect that would fit and I create the card. Other than that, please comment and rate, especially the new ones ;) So long, Spoon
