Kuri
Link: The Obama Deception"The Obama Deception is a hard-hitting film that completely destroys the myth that Barack Obama is working for the best interests of the American people. The Obama phenomenon is a hoax carefully crafted by the captains of the New World Order. He is being pushed as savior in an attempt to con the American people into accepting global slavery. We have reached a critical juncture in the New World Order's plans. and only by exposing the con can we help to save freedom in America. The Obama Deception is not about Left or Right: it's about a One World Government. The international banks plan to loot the people of the United States and turn them into slaves on a Global Plantation. Covered in this film: who Obama works for, what lies he has told, and his real agenda, and how his initial appointments and actions prove he serves the corporate oligarchs, not the American people. If you want to know the facts and cut through all the hype, this is the film for you." Video Description. Make the video reach mega viral again, since it was ILLEGALLY removed from youtube. If you don't see this thread then it just means that my account has been hacked. Please Sticky if you can. The video is about 2hrs long (shorter than that but estimating). CrabHelmet
I don't understand why all of you idiots think a conspiracy to form a One World Government is always just around the corner when just looking at the world makes it clear that such a thing is completely impossible. Just look at, say, the United Nations and the European Union; even the most modest of international bodies suffer heavily from internal disputes. Meanwhile, what used to be Yugoslavia has one of its states split in half every few years. There's actually a global trend toward smaller governments, what with the collapse of such large governments as those of the British Empire and the USSR. And that's just the start of the problems. How do you intend to tell the Israeli Jews and the rest of the Middle East that they're all going to live together in one nice happy shiny country now? How do you intend to control places like Somalia? In fact, how do you intend to run the world at all? A world-controlling government that works to enslave everyone for the purpose of being evil is going to require the most massive bureaucracy in history, and for the most blatantly evil purpose; how exactly do they intend to dissolve all legitimate governments and successfully install their own evil one? The particular details of this specific conspiracy theory quoted in the opening post - there's no way I'm wasting my time with the video - are particularly absurd. For those who missed it, apparently the goal is to turn everyone in the United States - and, presumably, the entire world - into slaves on a global plantation. Let's pass over for a moment the insane logistical problems with trying to enslave the entire planet and turn to a much simpler flaw: it doesn't make economic sense. Look at what is being proposed. Allegedly, some vague corporate powers have decided to get together, run a long game of controlling politicians of both major parties, somehow form a One World Government with themselves somehow in control, and then enslave all of America... and the end goal of this is to turn Americans into manual plantation labourers. That's right: the goal is to enslave a country whose population has unusually strong technological capabilities but relatively weak physical strength... and use them as manual labourers. In what universe would that be an efficient use of America? In fact, in what universe is plantations run by manual labour such a lucrative business model anyhow? The world has changed in the last two hundred years. And, more to the point, in what universe is this insane impossible long-term conspiracy scheme a more efficient way to acquire manual labour than to, say, go pretty much anywhere with high unemployment and hire a bunch of starving people for pennies? But, of course, the actual reality of what the world is really like isn't really of any interest to the conspiracy nuts. There idiots don't care what the world's actually like; all they know is that pretending there's a giant conspiracy out there trying to oppress them gives them something to be angry with, and that makes their lives feel more interesting and meaningful. The world isn't the issue; what matters is that they have something to feel indignant against. People like feeling oppressed; they remember that good people have been unjustly oppressed in history, so, through some insane mental associations, feeling oppressed also somehow makes them feel righteous. These lunatics like feeling oppressed; to them, being oppressed is like being a saint. And it helps that a thriller-style conspiracy lets them view themselves as world-saving heroes. Of course, at some level, they have to know deep down that what they're saying isn't true. If they really, truly believed that a massive conspiracy was underway to enslave them, then they wouldn't just be sitting back and making YouTube videos that nobody with half a brain is going to bother watching. At the very least, they'd be doing research on this alleged plot - and, as this post has made clear, even a little bit of research should have disproved their mad delusions. They claim this is the most critical issue in the world, yet they actively avoid finding out anything about it. How exactly is that supposed to work? It's simple: deep down inside, they know that they're just fooling themselves in order to get a righteously-oppressed high. That's why the conspiracy's plan in this claim is to turn Americans into plantation slaves. It may be the stupidest business model ever, but it's not supposed to make sense. What it's supposed to do is evoke an image of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century slavery for the conspiracy nuts to terrify themselves about. Research isn't important; what matters is the thrill of fear. And research is the least of what they would be doing; if they really thought this were true, they'd be stockpiling explosives in a giant underground bunker or making assassination attempts at the vague evil corporate businessmen who thought taking over the world seemed like the most logical business model. And they certainly wouldn't be posting the fact that they discovered the conspiracy on the internet through their YouTube account through their computer that even a real-world organization, and thus certainly the fictional conspiracy, could trace back to them. For all their hand-wringing about how ruthlessly and blatantly evil this conspiracy is, they don't seem to mind painting a giant target on their faces. They're fine with painting that target because they know that, in truth, there isn't really anyone out there to take the shot. Of course, that's assuming that these people are merely well-intentioned morons who have deluded themselves into believing such absurdities, despite realizing at some level that it's just nonsense. That's not the only explanation; there is another one, which is far less charitable. Simply put, there is a strong possibility that these people are not so much fools as clever con artists who post nonsense that they know to be false for political reasons. They want people to be opposed to any sort of global cooperation. They want people to be opposed to any sort of welfare (since it's a step toward a One World Government or something). They want people to be opposed to Barack Obama. It's the same tactic the Republicans always pull when the facts don't support them: make up some nonsense that morons like Kuri-Hiro will believe. It's just like when they responded to healthcare reform with claims of death panels, or how their standard argument against gay marriage is that Fabulous Stormtroopers will march into their churches and demand at gunpoint that they conduct and accept their marriages there. They're not deceiving themselves; they're deceiving you. Or, at least, they're trying to if you're stupid enough. Which, unfortunately, many people with the capacity to vote are. CrabHelmet
It isn't. The rant generator might refer to Stormtroopers, but not to Fabulous Stormtroopers. The tl;dr is that this topic is stupid and the people who spread this conspiracy nonsense are deluded morons and liars.
OmegaWave
The last president who actually did something right was Bill Clinton. I never trusted Obama OR McCain....but I chose Obama because he was the lesser poison.
CinnamonStar
I don't really get why all the bashing, or mythmaking of Obama even exists. Sure I don't agree that people put all this legend aura around him and I surely diagree that he got the Nobel Prize for Peace as much as I disagree (or even more) that Al Gore gota Nobel Prize for Peace. But people seem to forget that he was elected President, he wasn't elected a God and being the President of the United States is significantly harder than being the prince of Monaco. I don't have much time to view the video right now, will probably do it later but I can imagine the content of it. It's true that things are going slow right now, for example he did reduce the number of Guantanamo prisoners but we're way past January 2010 now and there's still not much progress in the whole issue. Obama is very overrated but to say that he did just nothing is wrong too, again he wasn't elected a God and much of the crap he's left with is a goodbye present from his predecessor. The HEALTHCORE REFORM for example didn't fall from the sky, nor did the health care for veterans or the financial support of stem cell research and and other research. One thing I really care about a lot when it comes to politicians is ecological concern, and Obama IMO has been a bit more effective than Al Gore even though this has little to do with peace but whatever. Examples: regulation of CO2 emissions, encouraging people to buy hybrid cars, overall helping of the car industry, protection of the oceans. Of course if we had John Kerry it'd be way more drastic and you'd probably get a prime for eating bio vegetables but I think it's a good start. So to say that Obama is the saviour of the world and must be worshipped like a legend, resp. that he does nothing and it's all just a conspiracy is wrong but I'll probably watch the video in a few days or something.
