New Monster Type - Reincarnate

I was sitting around, and my friend told me to try and come up with a unique effect of some sort, so I got the idea for this! I'm hoping it's unique anyway. XD Any OCG fixes and what-not are appreciated, as well as ratings!

Lore: When this card is destroyed, send it to your Spell and Trap card zone, and treat it as a Spell Card. When this card is treated as a Spell Card, all Machine-Type monsters on the field cannot attack. Pay 500 Life Points to attack with a Machine-Type.

Interesting. Would be helpful in a deck to counter a Machine-Themed deck.

I understand what you're saying Dr. Cakey, but let me take a guess at what he is trying to get at with this card. (Also, notice his level, and join date. I don't think he plays the TCG either if there is already a card with this style of effect).

 

I think what he was trying to get at was that you would put this in an Anti-Machine-Type themed deck. Since this card would be a Spell card after it would be destroyed, you couldn't attack with it. How I would use it;

 

1) Tribute summon in face-down defense position.

2) Get's destroyed by opponent's monster/ card effect.

3) (IF you are playing against a Machine-Themed deck, your opponent would now have to pay 500 Life Points to attack.

 

There would obviously have to be other support cards, and more cards that would work with this. If I was Sai Pyke, I would make more Machine-Type cards, but add in the effect, "This card is treated as _______-Type."; that way it is not effected by Unimode Android X (the card Sai Pyke posted).

 

I could see this being a believable build, or even a structure deck theme released by Konami.

Yes, technically it does kill it's own type, but it doesn't kill the card, as the effect is only activated after it's destroyed, meaning it can't attack anyway.
