Outright outclassed by Flip-Flop Frog, Mysterious Guard, Penguin Solider, Compulse, Nightmare Penguin, Snowman Eater, Juju Master, Wall of Illusion and Hane-Hane, while also generally inferior to Ryko, Man-Eater, D-Prison, Sakaretsu, Black Horn of Heaven, Rai-Oh and Old Vindictive Magician, and those are just from the top of my head. Some vague use is salvaged by considering this in Simorgh, but I feel it's way too outclassed by mediocre cards to fit even there, so I doubt this would ever see play.

I suppose this card would be better if it returned the Synchro to the Extra Deck? (Although you'd still probably think it worse than most other cards you named).

Compulsory is a chainable, while cards like D-Prison and this depend on your opponent attacking.

Compulsory is much better/faster in this meta.
