2 Quick Questions

I have been wondering 2 things.

 

1: I looked up on Points and saw the term "Welfare". What is this?

 

And 2: Why are Google, Yahoo etc. on the members list? This one I've been wondering for a while.

The way google functions is it starts at one site, a finds links to others on that site. As it passes through sites like this, it catalogues them. So Google is simply allowing you to find those threads in Google.

Can't help with #1, but for #2 they are just fake members who do random things, log on and off at random times and everything, but they don't post.

Google and Yahoo are bots. It makes it so that we are more likely to appear on a search.

Yeah, I figured they were some kind of Bots but I never quite understood what they did. Well, that clears 1 thing up.

1. Welfare is something that came with the new points system, but nothing has been implemented.

 

I assume on some forums they give away Welfare items according to certain themes, i.e. jobs, ranks, building lots etc.

 

2. They are inspector bots, they mostly always come with Forums, I assume they monitor searches and the type of things entered to repost onto their searches/ data archive.
