Oh... I had to look up Shino but yeah he's cool.

It also gave me support for another theory that explains why I think Ulq is bland but Black likes him (and other characters, this is not in fact a mocking of Black rather than some attempt to rationalize preferred characters) but I won't say it just yet, it would probbaly be irritating.

*Sigh* Alright, go ahead. Spill it, 'cause I am now interested.

Okay it's simple.

People naturally admire traits that are either different from them or they percive to be different from them, they are in some ways jealous. When a character exhibits traits that others lack they belive the person to be ideal and naturally like them.

This means that, baring a certain limit where the character is either too alien or too annoying, people like characters if they are NOT like them.

I enjoy romance since I cannot understand it IRL for example.

In addition Black consistently displays to be very emotional, as such he admires the self control that Ulq has because he is able to hide his emotions from anyone (even himself). I however am rather emotionless and as such can't admire this trait.

I like characters who are confident and enjoy themselves constantly, things I rarely do.

In a different example Black likes Kefka because he has no regrets and no qualms about anything, while Black is rather self depricating.

Proto likes Gilgamesh because Gilgamesh is comically arrogant and joyful, Proto has been the buttmonkey irl so it's appealing to find a character who is completly unhaunted by self doubt and low self esteem.

It has a few exceptions probbaly but for the most part I think it's solid. We like characters who we want to be, we dislike those who are actually like us.

Please Nex, both Luigi and Fusion like swinging "hammers" and jumping around in tight overalls yelling "Let's a go!".

He is Luigi!

See. You confirmed my point.

You are insulting Fusion as usual, something that both Luigi and Fuse have to deal with. The exception being that Luigi is unaware of this.

Thank you.

BLACK I OWE YOU AND Fusion Reps for that convo, it was truly thoughtful.

But I must point out: 1. I'm a Yankee fan and not a douche. 2. I live in Jersey. And we do not suck.

And I do agree with Fusion

And to fusion, if you ever need any thoughts on surviving High School I'll be advice ready.

But really

The only difference is Luigi is less of a nerd.

>.>

As I said it's amirable traits not sheer difference that causes a character to be ideal.

This is why Author avatars exist, they are supposedly identical in personallity to there author but while they are feeble the avatar is god.

It's the small things that count. I like characters similar to me if there is a difference that shows that they actually do have emotions but merely have problem showing it.

Like Aradia, who had a complete freakout later on in her story, after such an indent I liked her allot more.

WHY?? T.T

you make me sad...

I guess I'll never see it like you guys do because I grew up here.

And I have no idea of what your talking about. I mean, there are hypocrites all over the world, but does Jersey have to be the home of them all...No i don't think so...

I must now go prepare more toast.

And I'll say this about everything, including the toast: Don't knock it til you try it.

Yes...Ahh yes I remember that. Its a shame when people can't make up their minds. Most people I knew either didn't care or didn't want it. I was on the didn't want it side. But I think the further down you go, the stupider/more ignorant the people get. If they want to oppose it, do so because you want to not because everybody else thinks so. I oppose it because thats unnatural, and yes despite having Friends & family who are gay, I think that somethign happened to make them like this. And there's a couple solutions for it. My mom says prayer is one of them. Counseling is another good one. And it baffles me why a man can be gay anyways. There is NO justifiable reason. In My opinion.
