that's the IC thread.

 

I was there, then I wasn't. I was fighting my normal battle, firing the usual jets of stuff, when everything around me disappeared.

The I arrived here.

And I realized that I was dead.

But I really wasn't dead, though.

 

Spirits of Revenge

You are a Spirit.

This is different than you think, so bear with me.

You are a spirit of an emotion.

This emotion is what you are. Its what makes you up. What you are made of.

And it turns out that yes, you were a normal human being before you died.

But now you're a spirit. There are the Warui Spirits, and the Yoi spirits.

The Warui spirits are the terrible ones that want revenge on the human world. They are angry that they are dead,and they will stop at nothing to be living once more. The only way for a spirit to live again is to annihilate the entire human world. This results in all of the spirits becoming alive and living again.

Yoi spirits are the ones that respect human life and do not wish to harm them. They believe that it was their fate to perish in the way they did, and death is a natural process of life. So they do not wish to live again.

But they must save mankind. They are humans' last hopes.

 

What can spirits do?

They can possess people, and they can conjure up whatever they feel worth conjuring. THe limits? Whatever they've conjured has to be able to fit in the space they conjured it in, and also whatever they can conjure must NOT HURT OTHERS.

They can enter the human world and see humans, yes. If they conjure up a solid body, they can move things around. But they cannot speak.

 

Can spirits die?

yes. Their manifestation can cease to exist if they are killed how a spirit sholud be killed. Normal weapons and such pass through their selves. If you kill a human a spirit is possessing, the spirit jus tflits out and finds another to possess.

In order to kill a spirit, you must trap it in a circle of fire while it is possessing a human, then take a blade and stab it. Then you have to roll the spirit's corpse into the body before it escapes from the human it is possesing.

And that is a Spirit.

3. No killing others without their permission. but be reasonable. They can't take everything life...or, I guess, the afterlife... throws at them.

Spirit of: Euphoria (look it up ;) )

Age: 17

What kind of spirit: Yoi

Personality: She is very, very happy at all times. She is known to express her anger in happiness too, but the quieter her voice gets (unless she's purposefully making it quieter because she's whispering, etc and yes they can speak in the spirit world. Just not in the human world) the more angry she is. She loves using her spiritual magic and has fun with it, until duty calls her and she must save some aspect of human life. She loves humans and helps them out a lot when she can.

History: She was walking along when she saw a mugging taking place (with guns, yes, the whoel shebang) and she jumped in to help the old woman who was getting mugged. She was swiftly shot, but she found out the woman was mute. She being shot helped the woman escape, but it turns out that that woman was the spirit of Hope, the kindest of all spirits, so she was rewarded and turned into the spirit of Euphoria.

Did I mention that you can enter the spirit world and the mundane (human) world whenever you want. The spirit world looks like the mundane world, but everything is transparent and if it's part of the mundane world, everything mundane is all fuzzy. Anything that actually belongs to the spirit world looks clear.

In the mundane world, spirit stuff is completely not visible.

Personality: She is alwasy angery. She just likes to fight, steal, mug, swear... you know. Funny thing was, she was happpy when she did it.

Appearance: 50939.jpg

History: Well, after a mugging went wrong, she shot the person who saved the grany and ran. But, in an epic twist of fate, she was hit by a lorry and crushed into the ground.

Other: She hates eating Orange Chestnuts

Her hobies include mobbing and fighting.

She nearly killed a kid when she was three for not giving here a cookie.

Personality: He loves going exploring, and investigating. Which leads him to possess detectives and explorers alot. He loves trying new things. He is incredibly nice to a fault, and his curiosity leads him to daydream.

History: One day he was walking down a street and saw a shady dude so he walked up and said, "What are you doing?" He saw drugs, he heard a gunshot, and it went black.

Other: He was originally gonna die from poisoned ORANGE CHESTNUTS

Saying 'Curiosity killed the Cat' will make him say 'I did NOT kill my cat!'

Age (when they died): 16

What kind of spirit, Warui or Yoi?:Warui

Personality (please have this refer to your emotion too): He is very dark and psychotic and thinks the most evil of things are hilarious. He totaly hates happiness and adors gore. he also has a thing for guns and sadness. He loves to see people hurt and will never give up the chance to kill...EVER!! Even though he loves killing. He only kills those who have commited bad crimes and deeds He might be insane and dark but he stil has a concious.

History: After being locked away for murder of his father from the years of age 7 - 16, Royce wanted revenge on the country, more specifically, COPS. He organized an entire plan of extreme genocide. On April 24th he walked into a police station armed with 2 M-16's, 5 9mms and a Homeland 37 strapped with 8 grenades and plenty of ammo. Since all he did in prison was think about this plan and practice his shot for 8 months after his release, he was ready. He opened fire throughout the entire station. After a while he ran out and carjacked an elderly lady for her Mustang. With Cops, FBI, SWAT and Copters behind him he was in a high speed chase. After 15 minutes 2 of his tires were shot out and he lost control of the car. The car swerved and flew into a passing oil truck killing Royce on contact. Some cops say they could still here his laugh in there dreams. That night he killed 19 cops, 6 swat members and one FBI agent.

Name: Edmund Edwards

Spirit of Which Emotion?: Sorrow

Age: 26

What kind of spirit, Warui or Yoi?: Yoi

Personality: Edmund is somewhat apathetic. It takes a significant event to cause him to act, otherwise he will remain where he is, doing nothing. He constantly feels as though he has a broken heart, although he no longer fully remembers why it broke to begin with. His pain would probably go away, at least for a time, should he come back to life, but he lacks any desire to live again, and sees his pain as a sacrifice to prevent another being in his place, and so cannot ally with the Warui. If someone is truly unhappy, however, he will do what he can to fix their problems, that they will not suffer as he does. Edmund has a rather formal and old-fashioned pattern of speech, from the period he lived in.

Appearance: Edmund is a relatively tall man, dressed in a black suit and tie and wearing a top hat, which only adds to his hight. He has dark hair, although it's exact colour is difficult to determine, and very pale, almost white skin. His eyes are an almost silvery grey, and tears roll constantly down from them, although he no longer seems to notice, a handkerchief sitting eternally in his top pocket.

History: Edmund lived at least a century ago. Born into a fairly well-off family, his life was comfortable for most of his childhood, before his parents died. From there, things got worse and worse. One by one, his siblings died, as did the two women he married and his child. At the same time he saw how much ill-fortune befell those of the lower classes, and began to despair for the world. He was finally killed as a result of a railway accident. Having helped others from the train, he lay down beside the locomotive and passed away.

lol, I like Royce. He seems like my kind of character. Oh, and I will not be able to Post an app untill tomarrow. on rented time now, so Im limited but my spirit will be of Defiance and be a yoi... err, well sort of. As a last not, this needs more villians. 2 vs. 2 or now 4 vs. 2 isn't enough. Maybe NPC's?
