Please, please tell me you are trolling right now? If you aren't, I have nothing else to believe except that you are a complete idiot. Never mind, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. You didn't read my post. Let me summarize.

 

I DO NOT DISLIKE CATHOLICS IN GENERAL. I DO NOT FEEL THAT CATHOLICS ARE A DETRIMENT TO OUR SOCIETY. I FEEL THAT RELIGIOUS PEOPLE (GENERALLY) WHO TRY TO FORCE THEIR BELIEFS UNTO OTHERS (BY MEANS OF ILLOGICALLY PUTTING HOMOSEXUALS TO DEATH OR BANNING ABORTION) ARE A DETRIMENT TO SOCIETY. YOU ARE ENTITLED TO YOUR OWN OPINION, BUT IT SHOULD NOT AFFECT OTHER PEOPLE IN A NEGATIVE ASPECT. IN MOST SCENARIOS, RELIGIOUS CHRISTIAN AND CATHOLIC PEOPLE CAUSE THESE PROBLEMS (ALTHOUGH OTHER RELIGIONS ALSO ARE INCLUDED), AS SHOWN BY THE STORY OF THE PREIST (OF SOME RANDOM CHRISTIAN-SECT RELIGION) WHO TRIED TO GO TO UGANDA AND IMPOSE LAWS TO PUT HOMOSEXUALS TO DEATH. I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST ANY PARTICULAR RELIGION, NOR DO I HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST RELIGIOUS PEOPLE IN GENERAL, AS THEY ARE ALLOWED TO BELIEVE WHATEVER THE BLOODY HELL THEY WANT. BUT WHEN THEY TRY TO FORCE THEIR ILLOGICAL BELIEFS ONTO THE REST OF SOCIETY, THAT IS WHERE IT BECOMES A PROBLEM. WHAT IS WORSE IS THAT I NEVER MENTIONED CATHOLOCISM IN THIS ENTIRE THREAD, NOR IS THE TOPIC STILL ABOUT HOW THINGS NOT ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE ARE SINS.

 

Calm down, DUDE. I didn't have the time to read through every single word of your replies; 'cus frankly, the things you state are so freakin' confusing. All you're doing is repetitively posting the same statement over and over again, like we didn't read it. Well, we did. And we get it.

 

All I was asking for, were your sources. I can't understand what you're tryin' to say, unless you give me proof that religious people force their beliefs upon others, and that they also persecute homosexuals.

Excuse me for confusing Anglican with Christian, although I'm almost sure the former is a sect of the latter.

 

There are numerous more sources, most on the topics of homosexuality and abortion, since there isn't much else currently that is "anti-Bible".

 

I'm Christian. My friends are Christian. They're all fine with homosexuals. None of us force beliefs. Saying that Christians do those things is like saying all black people steal things.

And obviously, I implied that every single Christian in the world (no, rather, every single religious person in the world) is a detriment to society and should be put in jail (no, rather, put to death).

The statement is completely true. The fact that the word of an infallible being has been written by a completly fallible being means that it cannot then be completley true.

Then the writings of the fallible being were changed by yet more fallible beings. And so on, and so on.

 

What you have to remember is that this is a statement saying that the bible (which was written by man) says that what it says goes. PERIOD. FULL STOP. CASE CLOSED.

 

Nowhere did it say that the word of god was wrong. Or that people who believe in god are wrong. In fact the majority of religious people now are smart enough to realise that a book written thousands of years ago is no longer completley relevant to todays society.

You might find it acceptable, but homosexuality is specifically mentioned in the Catholic catechism, and technically, in order to be a Catholic, your views have to be in accordance with that catechism.

 

I go to a Catholic school. They teach us this stuff.

Essentially, you were speaking for what the Bible "means", or something. I phrased that incorrectly, but you get what I'm saying.

God is not real, nor is he fake.

 

It all depends on a person's opinion.

 

Your opinion is that God is real.

 

Mine is that he's not real and was a way to get people to be nice and to give power to the church.

 

No one can prove or disprove him unless we go back ALL the way in time.

 

But no one can due to the fact I kill however comes close with Time Travel.

If it is undecided weather something is real or not real then it becomes a Schroedingers cat situation and the object or character at hand is deemed both real and fake at the same time. So yes God is real, but at the exact same time, he can be considered by anyone as not real.
