Mothball
Requests Open, Tentatively at Least. Lets See How It Goes Huh? In Disney movies, the main female lead, will tend to always get their happy endings, riding/flying/walking/gazing into the sunset as the credits roll. After finding 14 of the most awesomely rockin' pics ever, I figured, hey, what if they didn't get those happy endings? What if, in fact, the ends were tragic, or events in the past led them to a point to where they would never in a million years even consider following the paths of their official counter parts. SO, without further ado, and chucking on yet another set to the ever growing pile of half finisheds, lets kick off, Twisted Princess' A note: Yes, thats the Dark Synchro template, and no it's not a Dark Synchro, but isn't it just so fitting for the themes of this set? [spoiler=Cinderalla Card Lore]This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of, "Stuck in the Dream". When this card is Summoned, it is switched to Defense Position. This card cannot be destroyed by battle while it is in Defense Position. During your End Phase, place 1 Rotten Dream Counter on this card. During your Standby Phase, you can select a monster your opponent controls and remove any number of Rotten Dream Counters from this card and place them on the selected monster instead. Monsters with Rotten Dream Counters on them lose ATK equal to the number of Rotten Dream Counters on them x 100. [spoiler=A Cinderalla Story]We all know the story of Cinderalla, but no one is nearly as self serving as the Fairy Godmother is made out to be. Oh she granted Cinderalla's wish at the behest of the girl's spilt tears, and the girl got her FairyTale night, but, as the clock struck midnight, and the pumpkin coach rolled away the dress became tattered and torn, the coach rotted and the steads became rodents once more, sent insane, filled with naught but hate and rage. And the girl. She screamed, horribly, in pain most unimaginable, as her skin became cloth, her eyes melting into plastic, and her innards straw as her mouth was pulled into an eternal grin. For you see, the old kind Fairy Godmother, who appeared on wings made of tears, was in fact a cruel old witch, who delighted in giving the purest, but most tortured, hearts she could find, hope for a better tomorrow and then stealing it away as her cruel magic ripped the poor dears soul clear through their mouth as it made it's way to the gullet of the vile witch. As for her body? The patchwork monstrosity now roams the land, forever in search of fairytail night she remembers, guarded by the raging rodents who were once her dearest frineds. Focussed only on those memories, that night... Stuck in the Dream. And when she cannot find the Fairy Tail she yearns so deeply for. The world rots with her. Poor little Cinderalla, young childs life so cruel.Cooking Banquets for the ones who house you.Being fed nothing but gruel. That Witch she lied, tricked you, deceived.Gave you the life you've always hoped for.If only for a single eve. And in return, unwittingly agreed.Your soul severed from earthly bonds. You gave your self to that twisted beast. Poor, little Cinderalla, young child's life so cruelNot a person on this dark green earth, Shall ever miss you [spoiler=Card Lore]This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of "My Very Own Wonderland". During each Main Phase 1, place 1 White Rabbit Counter on a card your opponent controls. If a card has 5 White Rabbit Counters on it, it is destroyed immediately. White Rabbit Counters that were on a card destroyed by this effect are placed on this card. This card is not destroyed if it has 5 or more White Rabbit Counters on it. If this card has 5 or more White Rabbit Counters on it, switch this card to Defense Position, and it cannot change Battle Positions while it has 5 or more White Rabbit Counters on it. If this card has 15 or more White Rabbit Counters on it, you can destroy this card and all monsters your opponent controls. [spoiler=Ashes to Ashes PG13 Drug Abuse]Alice was a nice proper girl. Very polite, very studious. Until she fell in to with the wrong crowd. The boy, he went by the name of Hatter, his product was White Rabbit. So strong, it completely detached you from reality, made you hallucinate an entire world, that seems so real. At first, not much really changed. Her grades lowered a slight bit, but parents and teachers alike attributed it to Puberty, and didn't push her on it.Eventually though, her grades became non-exsistent, not even bothering to attend school. Her temper on a hair trigger, she would bite out at the nearest little thing that irritated her, over reacting to every little annoyance. Eventually her parents confronted her about it, staging an intervention after finding a stash of the Rabbit, hidden in the air vent in her room. She cried and apologized, acted contrite, but she wasn't. She was hooked, completely devoted to her dear Hatter and his Rabbit, and lying had become such an easy thing to do for her precious Rabbit, that manipulating the intervention was child's play. As her parents saw her to bed, she said goodnight and they turned off the lights. As she heard the shallow breathing of sleep from the room next to hers, she crept quitely ove to her Desk, pulling up a small little false bottom in the draw, a piece of plywood, held up by two rulers on their side, hiding a Dimebag of Rabbit. Her last hit of Rabbit ever. Nowadays, the girl lies on a hospital bed, her higher brain functions pretty much shot to hell and back, the Rabbit having rotted away at her mind. And while her parents ignore her existence, not needing a Lying Junkie staining their prim and proper, perfect life, her days are spent, roaming through Wonderland. The Queen's heads, both Red and White, sitting on pikes at her palace doors, the riddling cat at her side, advising her every move, and all that remains in her mind of the Hatter and his White Rabbit? A green top hat perched on her throne and a cracked pocket watch in her hand, reality, never to be in her grasp again. Little Girl, Little Girl. You Dirty Liar! You're Just a Junkie Preaching to the Choir!-Green Day [spoiler=Card Lore]This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of "Forever Sleeping, Forever Roaming". When this is successfully Summoned, switch all monsters, except this card, to Defense Position. This card gains 300 ATK for each card whose Position was changed by this effect. Cards whose Position was changed by this effect cannot switch positions while this card remains on the field. If this monster attacks a Defense Position monster, destroy the face-down monster immediately with this card's effect without flipping it face-up and inflict 700 damage to your opponent. If your opponent's monster attacks a face-down Defense Position monste, destroy the face-down monster immediately with this card's effect and you lose 700 Life Points. If you control no other monsters, destroy this card. [spoiler=Unwaking Nightmare]Coming Sometime] [spoiler=Card Lore]This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of "China's Fall". When this card inflicts Battle Damage, you can Special Summon 1 "Dead Dragon" Token. (Level 4FIRE/Dragon-Type/ATK 1900/DEF 0). You can only control 1 "Dead Dragon" Token at a time. If this card is destroyed, destroy all "Dead Dragon" Tokens you control. Once per turn, after your Standby Phase and before this card declares an attack, you can Tribute both this card and 1 "Dead Dragon" Token you control to destroy all monsters your opponent controls, whose Level is equal to or lower than this cards Level. [spoiler=Chinese Whispers]Mulan and Mushu arive at the Imperial City to late to warn Shang of Shan Yu's survival, but just in time to see the Captain cut down by the cruel Hun Leader, the bodies of troops, civilians and the Emporer scattered in the streets.Letting out a cry of anguish both she and Mushu charge into battle, her steel flashing crimson as she cut down Hun after Hun, and the city bathed in his flames. Valiant, but ultimately futile. Both are strong, and many Hun fell to their combined efforts, but an entire army stood against them, as Mulan collapsed next to Mushu's shredded body she glared up into the burning yellow eyes of the Hun leader, before his blade pierced her stomach. To Be Continued [spoiler=Card Lore]This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of "Jafar's Silver Tounge". When this card destroys a monster, you can negate all Battle Damage to Special Summon 1 Beast-Type monster from your hand or Deck. If you do, the Summoned monster's DEF becomes 0 and it's ATK is increased by half it's original DEF. While you control a monster Summoned by this effect, this card cannot be involved in battle. [spoiler=Progress for Your Own Sake]Raised under the guidence of Agrabah's great Sultan, Jafar, she has grown into a cruel, cold individual. Always hearing and seeing the calue of the power her father wields in his station, she craves it for herself, but is bitter, knowing she could never amass the kind of power needed to overwhelm Jafar, whose control over his own magic is unrivalled throughout the world. However, one day she hears of a street urchin, who has recently been giving the Sultan trouble, killing his guards and stealing his money. Not only that, but aparently, the rat descends on the men, riding a flying carpet and aided by a Genie. A Genie. With that kind of power at her finger tips, she could easily overthrow the Sultan and take the throne of Sultan for herself. So she set off into the streets of her city, intent on finding the Urchin, and stealing the lamp for herself. To be Continued [spoiler=Card Lore]This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of "The Queen's Corruption". When this card is Summoned, place 7 Dwarf Counters on this card. If this card would be destroyed, remove a Dwarf Counter from this card, and it is not. During your End Phase you can remove all Dwarf Counters on this card. If you do,inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of Counters removed x 300. If this card has no Dwarf Counters on it, it's ATK becomes 2400 and it's DEF 0. [spoiler=Vanity is Your Own undoing]Coming Soon [spoiler=Card Lore]This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of "Atlantean Insanity". When this card is successfully Summoned place 3 Atlantean Heart Rage Counters on this card. (max. 7) At any time during your turn you can pay 500 Life Points to place 1 Atlantean Heart Rage Counter on this card. During your End Phase, you can remove any number of Atlantean Heart Rage Counters from this card to Special Summon a monster from your hand or Deck whose Level is equal to the number of Counters removed. If this card would be destroyed you can Tribute another monster you control to negate any Battle Damage you received and increase your Life Points by the same amount. [spoiler=Ancient Rage]For the most part, the tale is told the same. At least, up to the point where Kida is returned from within the Heart of Atlantis. The power held within the ancient artifact is unfathomable, near endless. What hope could a human, albeit an Atlantean, have of staying mentally and physically intact with that kind of power surrounding them.As she emerged from her crystal sleep, family and friends surrounding her, close. Too close. Having not even one logical thought left in her mind, primal instincts kick in instead, and she springs up, tearing out Milo's throat with her teeth before moving on to ending the others. As she finishes, the smells of fresh meat waft in from the city above. Letting lose a primal roar, she turns her back on the bodies of her friends, as beasts made from crystal emerge from the soil, ready and willing to follow her lead, to the very end. Atlantis is dead now, not a soul calls that death trap home anymore. Nowadays, all it is, is a palace of an smug, satisfied aftifact, a monster, lose in the streets, at it's every beck and call. NeosWiseman
OK, that's another set. Man, I have no idea how you can keep up with all of your sets. I just honestly can't :DAnyhow, the idea you've got here is actually really great, but I'm afraid for it final realization. But let's not think about the future for now ;)As far as I understand the set will be consisted of 14 (+) cards and if all the pictures are as good as this one then carry on with it :lol:I have nothing to say about the Cinderella. The card has an effect of reducing the power of a monster (not by much but still....) and keeps itself safe (in a way) while in Defense. Maybe the limit of 5 counters is unneeded, because of the low stats and because you need a Special condition to Summon it in this case a Ritual Spell. So all in all, I dig your new theme and I want to see more. Good luck! ^_^
Mothball
Can always count on you to comment eh Drago? Alright I fixed it, no Counter limit now. Jasmine from Alladin is coming up next, should I keep the small blurbs detailing how the girls got to this point, or does that not work for you? NeosWiseman
I'm quite cool with it. So I suggest that you keep it :D
poopybuttoxes
I think its pretty funny. I like how you use the dark template even though its not a dark synchro. The usual colors get boring haha.
Zeik
the pics cool. the card itself itself aright keeps its self around while its in defense mode but personally I think her ATK lowering effect is a bit underpowered for a ritual monster imo
Spoon
You can't deny the pics awesomeness, and I really like the little story that comes with it. The effect is alright, it gets the job done, and the overall design of the card is pretty nice as well. 9.3/10.
Mothball
Ara, ara, thank you guys. Added both Mulan and Jasmine. Um regarding their stories... It's 3am, so I can't just think of how to finish them, so they'll come later.
NeosWiseman
Mulan has quite a nifty "Dead Dragon Token" (the whole thing is in quotations) on here side. One of the eveilest tokes I've seen.... No, don't listen to what I'm saying. The card is really nice. The field-wiping effect is good.Jasmine is the nice one here though if you ask me. The beast Summoning and the DEF-/ATK+ is really good. I like them both, good job!
poopybuttoxes
The OCG is not too good on jasmine, but that picture is sexy haha. The effects on the new ones are awesome too.
Mothball
*Bow* I live to please. Also 'toxes, I'm pretty sure I nailed the OCG for Jasmine and screwed the pooch on Mulan, or are you seeing something I'm not?
poopybuttoxes
Im not sure. I wasnt really digging that "Involved in battle", and im not sure if they made a card like that in the existing game, but if they havent then i guess you can word it however you want haha. Zeik
Mulan comes with back-up and a lite-field wiping effect which is nice Jasmine would be just awesome in a Beast deck, since you could bring out something huge like Big Kola or Earthbound Immortal Cusillu and make them even huger. Mothball
Im not sure. I wasnt really digging that "Involved in battle", and im not sure if they made a card like that in the existing game, but if they havent then i guess you can word it however you want haha. Eh, even if there is, I feel involved in battle works much better than say "cannot declare an attack and cannot be targeted for battle" ya know? This is very cool and creepy. Glad you like it. Mulan comes with back-up and a lite-field wiping effect which is nice Jasmine would be just awesome in a Beast deck, since you could bring out something huge like Big Kola or Earthbound Immortal Cusillu and make them even huger. I know I made Jas a little Op'd, but to hell with it, she's awesome and that's that. Thanks for the comments guys, up next, probably Jane or Nala. Heh, thanks again for the comments, and you should know, whenever you choose Mothball, you're choosing value... er 90% of the time anyway, try to avoid the older stuff. Although, there are a few neat little links to some other sets o' mine that you may want to check out, hint hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Mothball
Damn. That's gotta be some of the most depressing stuff I've ever written. I'm serious about the PG13 tag on ALice's tale. If you aren't 13 don't click it, subject matter is very dark. Although, the card, well, feel free to comment on that all you want. And arigato gozaimasu Fenrir-chan! Counter Play's gonna be pretty prevalent here. EDIT: Quickest Thread to Second Page, and probably first where it wasn't Drago that pushed it over ! YUS! NeosWiseman
Nice Alice you got there this is the best Counter play I've ever seen I think. :DThe story is crushing lol :lol:I really like it! Mothball
I'm just hoping I don't get a ban spanking from Icy for this. Although I'm sure I shouldn't, still apprehensive none the less. And thanks for the card comps, I always appreciate my man.
Spoon
Alice in an asylum? Oh, she already is... remember? Her parents died in a fire, she accused herself and drifted into a catatonic state. That has nothing to do with drugs :P However... if you see her now, more than 10 years later... it could very well be the drugs... look at my avatar I like the little story, the card itself is nice as well. I wish I could write like that... in english that is, in german I could tell you stories! But nobody would get them on this board  A great picture (I wish I had that for my Alice set) and a nice effect, though I found it to be highly confusing at first. Overall, this set gets bigger and better, keep it up ;) So long, Spoon
