Meh, testing cards, image credit is to HP Doom, I think it was him.

 

[spoiler=Effect]This card is treated as a Zombie-Type monster while there is 1 "Sphinx" monster in your Graveyard. When this card is destroyed, remove from play 1 "Sphinx" monster to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. Your opponent cannot select face-down monsters as an attack target while this card remains in face-up Attack Position. By paying 700 Life Points during your Main Phase 1, you can select 1 Rock-Type monster and switch its ATK and DEF until your opponents next End Phase.

While browsing archives, I saw it. Saw the rocky sort of body and thought I would just randomly make it a Sphinx.

Nice card, but I have to ask "When this card is destroyed, remove from play 1 "Sphinx" monster to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position." you can remove from a sphinx from anywhere? Cause it doesn't specify, and that would mean being able to remove a sphinx from your hand, field, grave, or even deck, that's overpowered... But then again you could've just worded it wrong, it's still cool :P

Image is good but I don't like the name I think "Dark Necro Sphinx" could be better seeing as it's part Zombie aswell.

 

This card is treated as a Zombie-Type monster while there is 1 "Sphinx" monster in your Graveyard.

 

So it turns into a Zombie if another Sphinx monster is in the Graveyard. Yeah... that makes sense.

 

When this card is destroyed, remove from play 1 "Sphinx" monster to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position.

 

Then it can re-summon itself by removing another Sphinx monster. Okay that has a Zombie characteristic you got this part right.

 

Your opponent cannot select face-down monsters as an attack target while this card remains in face-up Attack Position.

 

It's more useful for you to fool your opponent into attacking a higher DEF monster. Maybe switch it around so the attack must hit the face-down? That way if it is a higher DEF monster you control then you can force your opponent into attacking it.

 

By paying 700 Life Points during your Main Phase 1, you can select 1 Rock-Type monster and switch its ATK and DEF until your opponents next End Phase.

 

Okay I like this an easy ATK increase and theres a limit so it makes it balanced.

 

Overall this card is more useful in maybe a Sphinx/Zombie Hybrid like Deck. I don't think Rocks turn into Zombies if a Sphinx is in the Graveyard maybe if you control a Zombie it would make more sense because Zombies can make others into Zombies... Unless that ability is just for vampires. Anyway not a bad card I will rate this a C+ there are still somethings I'm not sure of but it's still pretty good.

I usually think of random names, this was random. I made it a zombie because it was kinda an evil of him which looked half like a rock and a zombie if you know what I mean. Thanks.
