Unrealistic and overused picture.

Might be useful in a frog/monarch deck, but i'd much rather see a giant frog + monarch epic Synchro than this.

Pretty overpowered too. Reminds me of Soul of Purity and Light, except with more attack, and a jabroniin' cheap effect.

I'm not too sure what to give you on this one, but i'll give you a two.

It's obvious that he was trying to make himself the 'king' of the monarchs.

Therefore increasing the stars and giving his own subtype, Fiend.

Yes, the image doesn't fit, but he obviously took time and effort to make the card.

ORIGINALITY - It's like a Monarch version of BLS and CED - as the stats and summoning condition are quite similar (only with varying differences). It breaks away from the standard Monarch formula (2400 ATK and LV6 - with the exception of Zaborg). However, you were trying to make a Monarch that stood out above the others - like a king or sorts. That makes sense. (15/20)

 

IMAGE - The image (as stated before) is a bit overused. HOWEVER, I am not going to rate you any different for it. It's a nice image. (20/20)

 

EFFECT - The card is borderline overpowered IMHO. Caius was balanced because it gave a bonus when it used its destruction effect (in the way of the controller of any destroyed card got to draw a card) in addition to the drawback of not being able to attack. This one just flat out destroys up to 3 cards - flat out. In a way, I can understand why you would do this - as there are only 2 LIGHT Monarchs and 1 DARK Monarch (excluding this card). 34/40)

 

OCG - Your OCG is flawless. Great job on that. (20/20)

 

RATING - I will give 'Zaras the Chaos Monarch' a 89/100 - or an 8.9/10. It's not a bad card, but could use a small bit of tweaking. Good job. Keep up the good work. =D
