September 2010 Frog OTK

If substitoad doesn't get banned, then just run normal Frog FTK but with just the one Substitoad, but if Substitoad does get banned, this is what I'd run:

 

Monsters: 37

Ronintoadin X3

Swap Frog X3

Dupe Frog X3

Poison Draw Frog X3

Flip Flop Frog X3

Submarine Frog X3

Des Frog X3

Unifrog X3

Beelze Frog X3

Treeborn Frog (since it is going back to 1)

Magical Merchant X3

Gokipon X3 (searches Merchant, and you really need Merchant)

Sangan

Fishborg Blaster X2

 

Spells: 3

Mass Driver X2

Giant Trunade (Since Cold Wave could be banned, this works better than Wave anyway, since I need Mass Driver)

 

Basically, the idea is simple. Get Frogs in your Grave easily via Magical Merchant so you have enough Frogs to complete the OTK with Ronintoadin and Mass Driver. May work, but idk.

mass driver at 3 seems like an overkill since u already have 3 merchants

i still think subtoad is more reliable then merchant for OTK cause u can send frogs to the graveyard with no luck involved and u could still get a terrible mill from merchant (not getting enough frogs in the grave) to do the the combo

also merchant takes quite a while to get out even with Gokipon/sagan while sub could use 1 for 1 for a instant folder

but the advantage u get in this deck is a faster mass driver

 

frogs are gonna get hit hard but still i dont think this deck is gonna work in my opinion

Yes, but Substitoad will get either limited or banned, so this will probably be more consistent. Mass Driver @3 is necessary since people run MST/Dust Tornado, so you need your back up copies. So please lrns2yugimonz.

yah but at that point of the game its either do or die, if you dont kill them that turn i dont think u have enough time to bring out another MD

and the deck doesnt seem very consistent cause u have only 3 cards that can bring MM out +3 to include itself with 31 other monsters and 4 spells

 

i suggest neg 1 mass driver for card destruction

and neg 1 sub frog for a night assailant?

I may -1 Driver to +1 Gokipon! You'll still have copy of MD even though one gets destroyed and it will also provide you maybe a better milling.

Ok, I will -1 Mass Driver for +1 Gokipon, since the deck needs Magical Merchant so desperately.

 

@Dreamer; If you do it mathematically, there is an almost certain chance that, if you run 3 of a card, and 4 extentions of it, then there is an almost certain chance that you are going to get at least one in your opening hand. Do the math bro!
