See, I know that Machina Mayhem is dead cheap, and if I really wanted to, I could just separately order all the parts for even less than the Structure's cost.

Just don't like the idea of everybody who's cheap and can't afford a deck to just buy MM. It would feel overused and generally boring.

Search out Fortress, fodder for Fortress, rinse and repeat. Really nothing else to it, unless you want to change it up slightly.

Black Rose Dragon's too expensive.

Do you have a deck list for Debu-Hime or SalvoDAD?

I heard Gladiator Beasts are slightly difficult to use, but I may be wrong. Deck list? And yeah, they are inexpensive. I have a ton of them lying around.

Aliens is an interesting suggestion. But doesn't it lack support?

Naturia's are expensive, yeah. I would need to do a bit of research for that.

Aren't Fortune Ladies and Watts new archetypes? I'm going to have to research them.

Watts were released in The Shining Darkness. More support from them in Duelist Revolution and Starstrike Blast.

Fortune Ladies aren't that new. They were released in Ancient Prophecy with their further support in Stardust Overdrive.

What's are rather fun to play and has the potential to lock down your opponent at certain times in the duel, but are so crushable in battle.

Fortune Ladies swarm decently, easily become beatsticks overtime, and have great draw power, but as soon as Skill Drain hits the field and you can't get it out, your screwed.

Well, you have 3 choices, with the new banlist:

Glads (only thing that hurts them wis Rescue Cat going to 0)
Machina Gadgets (nothing happened to them in the banlist, they are fine)
Quickdraw/DebuHime (With BRD @3 and Dandylion still @2, they are going to be one of the top decks of next format)

Your best bet is probably MachiGadgets, since they are cheapest. If you want to go a little more expensive, then go for Glads because they are better and take more skill to play and are less hated by the people. Quickdraw is expensive, since you need some quite expensive Synchros (3 BRD, 3 Stardust, Trishula, Drill Warrior, Junk Archer are the most expensive ones).
