It filters your draw reducing the number of times you draw dead cards. It makes running a card like trap dustshoot almost risk free, because if you need it you select it, if it's dead you shuffle it back.

It makes your deck more consistent finding the card you need for a given situation with better accuracy.

It thins your deck because running 3 of this is like running a 37 card deck (like upstart).

Even if you are limited to 1 copy per turn you are not limited to one copy per duel so even if you have multiple in your hand you should have the time to activate all of them. (Sort of like how Gold Sarc is a good / efficient tutor, because in theory you get your card)

The drawback of having no sp summon for the turn is so small that unless your deck can only sp summon you should be able to do something important in your turn if you activate this.

Even decks like infernity ran this last format this is because it only prevents sp summons for 1 turn not the rest of the duel so you can still set up OTKs on multiple turns. (Again like gold sarc searching something like future fusion)

Overpriced is arguable (but then again we are talking about one of the best SECRET printed.) but overrated is foolish, this card is nuts. It's not PoG or GC but it's a well designed, powerful draw spell.

If we don't jump on the hype wagon like Japan did I'll be pleasantly surprised. Our style in the TCG is if it can be abused - abuse it til it's banned - i.e. Burial from a different dimension. and this card is wayyy better than BDD.

sheesh i'd argue it's almost as good as pot of greed - with greed you blind draw 2 cards - here you get to pick the 1 good card out of the 3 that helps you the most at that time. sadly even if we don't abuse the fool out of it they probably will continue to do so in Japan.

ya - it will be reprinted - I don't think in strike blast SE though - much further out than that - once the booster boxes are no longer being circulated that's when they'll do it. Maybe by next summer. It will have it's run just like charge - dad - honest and such.
