Angish Red Breast

Effect:

When this card attacks with an ATK that is higher than the DEF of a Defense Position monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, increase this cards ATK by 500. While there is another WIND monster on your side of the field, your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target.

Why:

This card is the Counter Part of Hunter Owl. I "Copied" The boost but on a diffrent way and the fact it can't be attacked if you have another WIND monsters on the field. His stats are the same except for the ATK. Hunter Owl has 1000 original ATK but he gains a direct boost of 500 for himself so I added that boost directly.

They work great togheter.

Most monsters that have piercing damage have higher ATK than 1500, since the main target for monsters with piercing damage have a very high DEF and you can inflict Battle Damage in a battle with them in another way. I'd recommend Piercing Damage for a 2400+.

Were you blind to see that it gains 500 attack. After 2 successfull damage attacks he has 2500, more then your reccomendation.

Dj-Osiris: Please read my original post, (People just don't read anymore, do they?) where I assume it's for the effect. And like you said yourself, after two successful attacks. Which means, two turns for you, and two turns for your opponent to destroy it with a Monarch or Saku or anything else.

Dont think too much into the game Umbra, not everybody uses monarchs etc.

 

And so what, 2 attacks can easyly be accomplished, especially with Alords other Bird cards, which i believe this card fits into.

 

And personally i dont think you have taken everything into account.

I read it, and I have even said before that I have taken this effect in account. I agree that the third effect is good, that it can't be attacked if another WIND monster is face-up on your side of the field, but the second effect takes a while to maximize.

I read it, and I have even said before that I have taken this effect in account. I agree that the third effect is good, that it can't be attacked if another WIND monster is face-up on your side of the field, but the second effect takes a while to maximize.

 

Don't you keep an axe of despair, united we stand, or mage power in your deck? With anyone of those, this card would be even more powerful.

Oh was refering to better then most other piercing monsters, there are right right dodgey ones

 

i mean what the hell was with that Rhino one from pharoahs servent, cannot remember its name, but it had i believe 1300 ATK.

 

Spear dragon had a bad after effect, enraged battle ox was not bad, dark driceratops was a bit plain, E-hero Bladedge is only good for E-hero decks really, The insect one was good, although im biast as insects are my fave monsters.

 

I dont believe there is another ok attack piercing monster that includes a defensive and an attack increasing effect in 1 ^_^ Thus it is stronger then most, plus can be easyly powered with existing WIND / Winged Beast support cards

 

and Alords bird cards ^_^

and yes ended, and also as an add in, not all piercing monsters have high ATK ^_^
