This card cannot be Special Summoned from your hand. This card is unaffected by "Venom Swamp". This card gains 300 ATK for each Reptile-Type monster in your Graveyard. This card cannot be selected as an attack target if you control another Reptile-Type monster. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can remove from play 1 other Reptile-Type monster in your Graveyard to Special Summon this card.

Weee Venom Monsters, I love it based on that alone.
I think the ability is fine, I like how it can allow you to steadily power him up while your opponent is forced to attack other reptiles.
Must be careful though as Venominom had "cannot be special summoned by another monsters effect" to stop Mystic Tomato from fetching him, which you could do with this guy but then again that could be his appeal.
The Venom archtype is in desperate need of some more muscle/tricks and this would give it to them without bieng too large (kudos for choosing 300 per reptile rather than 500)

9/10 Great Card

Yea :3 same. I wanted to add more to him, I had like lots of other stuff i wanted to add but then he would have just ended up being more powerful than King and possibly Deity and that wasn't what I was shooting for.

Maybe this is more of a backup plan D:

I also just made the card to promote the image since its a new addition to my image archieves.

Thanks Jay ^^

I just read the description of Venom Swamp. I hate it already!

About the card...

I like all effects, except for the last one... Considering how your deck must be basically all Reptile-based, there's more than enough Reptile cards to move out of play from the Graveyard, to get Vennominym back in case the opponent just got a lucky hit.
It will dominate the field and is likely to become a dominant strategy in Reptile decks, but somehow this one seems pretty realistic and useable in a duel.

Lol if you hate that, you should look up the Deity of Poisonous Snakes, she's a toughie. My friend plays Venoms and I have yet to beat it. :'(

And maybe try making it a Level 6? Just to make it a little different from the King Snake guy.

Agreed. Level 6 is perfectly fair for this. Consider that you will need 7 Reptile-Type monsters in the Graveyard just to classify this card as the most modest of beatsticks. With 7 Reptile-Type monsters in the Graveyard, Vennominon would have a colossal 3500 ATK. So there's quite clearly nothing wrong with this card, and its ability to side-step attacks makes it reasonable to expect it to grow to more useful proportions.

~Jay~ the weaknesses of Venoms are myriad. The most direct approach is to use a supply of strong, easy-to-summon monsters, since the largest of the Venom's 4-and-under monsters has 1200 ATK. The more intelligent approach, though, is to arm your deck with extra Spell and Trap destruction like Mystical Space Typhoon and Dust Tornado, since Venoms are completely useless without it (excluding the King and Deity). Also, one thing to keep in mind about Venom Swamp is that it cannot destroy a monster if that monster's ATK is originally 0, or is becomes 0 by another card's effect, so cards like Arcana Force 0 - The Fool and Cyber Valley can mess with it. Just some handy tips.
