This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 1 face-up Spell Card your opponent controls to the Graveyard.

It's a bit like a underpowered MST with free high attacking Tuner.

Personally it's a bit overpowered, even though you can't instantly summon it.

But Special Summon this, Normal Summon a LV4 = Synchro for Stardust.

Chances of face-up spells are common too, lots of continuous or Field Spells are seeing a lot more gameplay recently.

Should I make it with less ATK and non-Tuner?

Well it's your card, you make it how you want, but my method would be LV 3 (to complicate Synchros) and about 1200ATK. Keeping the Special Summon is needed, as Normal Summoning it would defeat the point of the card. XD

Not even OP'd. This is just okay...in power and balance I mean.

I don't even understand how you guys think THIS is OP'd. :/

He won't make that much of a difference. LV 3 would just make BRD easier. It deserves everything it has.

Not that many face-up Spells these days, but there is Solidarity, some field Spells, Swords of Revealing Light, and such. LV4 Tuner with 1900 ATK is standard.

Very good. Don't have much else to say.

8/10 for making a good card based off another.

So you can only Special Summon it (from your hand I presume) when your enemy has a faced-up Spell card under his/her control?

This could either blow your opponent's strategy if there's a nasty Spell card doing his bidding... Or be stuck in your hand for the rest of the duel if your opponent doesn't roll like that.

I'm not sure if I would call it balanced, it is a very powerful in a direct and tactical sense if you just wait until the opponent uses a strategy-determining Spell card. It's basically a monster card that almost functions like a Spell card in the way that it cleans up another Spell card.

Personally, I think this effect is too powerful to be combined with exceptional ATK. I would almost feel guilty if I would put this card in my deck, and that is not a sign of balance.

My rating: 6.9/10

I have doubts about using this card.

My careful suggestions to balance it:
1 Set more limits
2 Change the intensity of the effect or effect itself to an extent, preferably without damaging the identity of the card
3 Lower the ATK

I also suggest to get a way to discard this card from your hand in case it is needed, so the player has the option to not play the card to (re)gain other strategic benefits.

Seriously?

You guys have no idea how balanced this card is.

And here's what it's based off of:

They are more likely to use a Continuous Trap Card than Spell.

If you think this is OP'd, then lol.

Trap Eater barely get's used in the main Deck. It's used as a side deck choice. And so would this card.

If that is supposed to refer to me, then I feel offended. I mean to help, not destroy, even though when I seem blatantly wrong in my every word. But if you cannot respect my honest opinion, then I am unsure if I should if I should even bother.

I am sorry, I was not supposed to be rude, really sorry.

Why should I offend a person that has lose their time to reply and tried to help me? Really sorry, I'll gave you +1 rep for the misunderstood.
