The equipped monster cannot activate any effects while this card is equipped to it. Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 400. Once per turn, you can discard 1 Spell or Trap Card to search your Deck for a Spell or Trap Card. If you activate the Spell or Trap Card during the turn the effect was activated, destroy this card and decrease the original ATK of the equipped monster by 800.
Image by HQ. Would be helpful w/ Gearfried Deck. UPDATE: Read printed effect, card has error
Smesh
you dont need to capitalize monster in the first sentence. Op'd IMO. Let's you get ANY S/T
◎Kaleidoscope
I'll un-capitalize monster, thnx. Yah, you're right, when I read it over again in the thread it seems OP. CHanging now.
Jaedumuth
I worry... Is 400 ATK not a little much for an Equip Spell card that doesn't require you to sacrifice anything? The optional effect is nice, but I think it is overpowered in the case you have a lot of "nasty" Spell or Trap cards in your Deck. The effect basically allows you to use every Spell/Trap card in your Deck whenever you like, even though you do still have to get it out of your Deck on the spot. If you're willing to basically sacrifice your Warrior-type monster and the Equip Spell card, you can even just get any type of Spell/Trap card without using it. Think it out, a good deck is likely to consist out of basically 50% monsters, and 50% Spells and Traps. With this card you have full access to half your deck. I would not agree to this card being in anyone's Deck, even though I applaud the originality and diverse tactical uses of this card. My rating: 6/10 Good enough to improve and make it better, but not good enough to use in a duel (yet).
◎Kaleidoscope
I'm not sure if u posted this before I updated the card, and I do think it is more balanced, (but not completely) now. I'm still trying to think of a better idea of how to limit the kind of Spell + Traps without straying from my idea and/or OCG
Jaedumuth
That's more like it. Rating increased from 6/10 to 8/10. Quick fix but pretty great card!

wero-vasto
Limit the effect to only "Once per turn" and make the last effect backwards... if you use the S/T Card this turn then this card is destroyed and so... @KazukiShizuoka2: Actually a normal deck contains 40 cards: 50% Monsters + 50% S/T Cards = 50% Monsters + 25% Spells + 25% Traps... ◎Kaleidoscope
Thanks for the suggestion wero-vasto, I'll change to "once per turn" I see where you're going on the last effect, but I think the way I have makes it more original, and balances it out more. wero-vasto
Actually... make the way I said and it will be more balanced... due the fact that you can use the card but it would cost you 800 ATK from your monster and your searcher... so yeah xD better than if you don't use it then it would be destroyed... thought when applying the effect you'll pull an usefull card XD
◎Kaleidoscope
OK, you almost have me convinced. I'll change it some time today if I feel like it. Any other comments?
Jaedumuth
Think it out, a good deck is likely to consist out of basically 50% monsters, and 50% Spells and Traps.
I don't see how that proved anything I did not state before. Half the deck is Spells and Traps, and the other half is Monsters. So. I'm not sure what you're trying to say. And I do agree with the last effect being reversed. Having a penalty on using that Spell/Trap card directly, disables the player from having full access to all the Spell and Trap cards in the deck at any time, and makes the card less powerful despite it's usefulness. I would almost high-five wero-vasto for the suggestion, if he did not offend my intellect by trying to correct the obvious.

wero-vasto
@KazukiShizuoka2: Lol xD I didn't offend your intellect :3 neither was trying to correct the obvious... :3 actually I said, a Normal Deck... some great Decks can run more Monsters than S/T or vice versa. OT: The card now is good, now me like it ^^
