morphs are terrible and if you think Burnpsy will top you are an idiot.

 

Discuss the epicness of Morphtronics. And Kiryu, just because a deck didn't top up to this time, it doesn't mean that it's bad. Maybe after Toronto YCS Morphs will see more attention... *prays for burnpsy to top*

tbh Kiryu is right, but if everyone played t1 decks, the game won't be fun.

 

And a guy that ran f***ing Spaceships topped. With some a lot of luck, a Morph deck might do it too.

Here we have IRL example. Crappy deck that no one really used, suddenly tops.

We cannot really compare the two. A subpar anti-meta deck in a format in which the top decks are easy to counter is more likely to top than a subpar OTK deck in a format with big backrows.

 

There is also a difference between the 1st and last big event of a format.

 

Nevertheless, I wish him luck.

Back on topic:

 

Morphtronics are pretty awesome IMO. Radion turns anything, especially Boomboxen, into a beastick. And in combination with Boarden... Celfon is a main swarmer, searchable by 1 4 1 and Dupe'able. It's somewhat luck-based, but whatever.

Scoopen spams Level 7 Synchros like crazy, and with BRD @3, it's more usefull. Remoten + Dupe is Gottoms early game, and late game, before you synch them, you can search your Deck/Grave for practically any Morph. Of course, they also play Valley. Combining Valley, Remoten and RfaDD gives them big plays. IMO, Morphs are really underrated and underplayed. Maybe after burnpsy's appearance on YCS they'll see more play...
