Dream Cabbage
This card is coming out in Starstrike Blast. Let's discuss the extent of this cards incredibility. During this turn's Battle Phase, this card can attack once for each Tuner Monster revealed this way. ● You can negate the activation of a Spell Card, Trap Card or Effect Monster's effect that would destroy a card(s) on the field, and destroy that card. ● When your opponent's monster declares an attack, you can remove from play this card to negate the attack. If this card is removed from play this way, Special Summon it during the End Phase.
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Its a situational OTK that fails in comparison to the original stardust because it can only negate one destruction effect per turn and then remains vulnerable to destruction effects. Welche the crab
Worse then Red Nova Dragon
Dream Cabbage
Well basically, that effect is like Stardust Dragon only this card doesn't move away from the field. It didn't say on Stardust that you could only activate it once per turn becuase it doesn't need to since it would already be in the Graveyard due to it's own effect. Yeah, Red Nova Dragon is way better than this. But you would run both this and Red Nova Dragon in your extra deck.
Lonk
Red Nova Dragon is better. 2 Tuners + RDA specification > 1 Stardust + 1 Synchro Tuner specification = 2 Level 1 monsters that have to be a tuner and a non-tuner.
Dream Cabbage
You could have Formula Synchron which is coming out in Starstrike Blast. It's easy to get out in Frog Synchro(the deck I'm making). Then you get Caius and Fishborg Blaster and a Treeborn Frog to get Stardustout. You need to have at least 2 Tuners revealed to gain any advantage to using the effect, and if you find 0, you cannot attack at all. I'm not sure how many Tuners are actually used in your average deck. Mine is usually at least 2, and even in my SD/AM deck I think I only have 4 or 5 (Three being Flamvell Magicians of course). I don't think a deck that stacks tuners would end up being very good. Effect 2: It can only negate a Destruction Effect once, and then be destroyed by a 2nd destruction effect played that turn. Of course, it is still vulnerable to removal as well. Effect 3: [s]Prevents it from being destroyed by Battle, in the off chance your opponent has a 3300 ATK or more monster to compete with this beast, or an effect like Catastor or Grand Mole. I don't think this effect would be used too often at all.[/s] Sorry, it can prevent any attack, not just ones directed at this monster, which is better, though not enough for me to justify its use To me, it's seriously not worth the effort to Summon, and i'd much rather continue to use Stardust Dragon and Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode over this. Expelsword
This card is good, but it is not infalible (even /Assault had weaknesses) Tag Duels with a Star/Scar combo are hilariously difficult to overcome, and make for a ton of fun
darkwolf777
I never said /Assault didn't have weaknesses; It just has a lot less, and is easier to Summon than this.
evilfusion
Flamvells can whip this out with ease. Rekindling is going to make Scar Red and Shooting Star hilariously easy to summon, especially with Baby released. As for Shooting Star, it's a gamble to use its multiple attacks effect because, as mentioned, you reveal 0 tuners, you get nothing. You reveal 1, you get 1. OR you could not take the gamble and just attack once. The costless negation once per turn is pretty sweet, but as mentioned, it's only once a turn, making this vulnerable. Lastly, it can negate ANY attack, not just one aimed at this. It can negate a direct attack or an attack against a weaker monster, maybe one you're trying to defend for some reason? And then it comes back. It's decent, but it's true: Scar Red is better because an easy beatstick 4000+ monster immune to destruction is superior to a 3300 that MIGHT be able to attack up to 5 times...or not at all. Expelsword
Think of it this way SRND 5 tuners = 7000 damage SSD 5 tuners = 16500 damage
evilfusion
The difference is Shooting Star needs the Tuners on the top of your deck, and Scar Red needs them in your graveyard. And odds are, you've used 3 in the summoning (1 for Red Dragon, 2 for Nova), so that's 5000 off the bat. And 5 Tuners for Scar Red is 6000. evilfusion
I thought "Nexus" means bonds/friendship and is not an entity. Otherwise I'd be inclined to believe, but "and love him" is too jarring.

evilfusion
I must have missed the parody because I was too busy noticing you labeled an abstract concept with a gender. Hehe. In any case, I wonder what kind of decks this might see.

Toffee.
Appearently Speed World 2 counts as an attack. ....... ............ Shooting Star is just really situational, when yet, Nova Dragon in general just has more raw power.
