Haou Devil 12
I've been hurting my head over a new card idea. Now I'm wondering if this card is considered useful. Zone EARTH / Level 10 [Machine/Effect] ATK/3000 DEF/3000 This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except if your opponent has nothing in his/her Monster, Spell, or Trap Card Zone. While this card is on the field, select a number of Monster, Spell, and Trap Card Zones on the field equal to the number of cards in your hand. The selected Monster, Spell, or Trap Card Zones cannot be used as this card remains on the field. When your opponent attacks a monster you control, select an unoccupied Monster Card Zone and move the attacked monster to the selected Monster Card Zone to negate the attack. If this card can work in some other way, let me know. Link to comment

This card cannot be Special Summoned except if your opponent doesn't control any cards and if it is not the first turn of the duel." Would that take away its OP'dness? Link to comment
It would take away its OP'dness, but it would then make it UP'd. No matter which way you go with this one, it's either going to be one way or the other. Maybe edit it so that it needs 3 tributes and blocks all empty monster, spell, and trap cards zones on the field, including your own? And then limit each player to the M,S,T zones that they already have in use? (ie. I summon this and have 2 spells and 1 other monster. So I could only use the other three zones while this monster is on the field) That would probably help balance it. Link to comment
It reads as if how many zones affected is completely determined by the number of cards in your hand at all times. That doesn't sound like a problem if that's the case. In fact, if that is the case, then this card is more UP'd than I originally thought. I think maybe if you turn it into a tribute monster instead and then use the other effects, it would probably balance out fairly well. Link to comment
Toffee.
2x Zone + Ground Collapse = 3 card F/OTK Link to comment
