I've had Snail, Frog, Guinea Pig, Kangaroo and Cricket. The Cricket was roasted and covered in sticky cinnamon sauce, it was actually quite nice.

Even if the spider was poisonous it would not have killed you because it only affects you if it gets to your bloodstream. I ate a live cricket once on a dare, it didn't taste too bad.

If by that you mean a Black Widow, then I would not recommend eating it. You are likely to get hurt from that one.
