LiAM
Was inspired by a reality tv cookery show. The host prepared a 4 course vegetarian meal with a great variety of successful and quite awe inspiring meals. So, this is the topic. Could you, or rather, would you try being vegetarian for a week/ fortnight? If you're already vegetarian, then this doesn't really affect you. But in general, discuss vegetarianism or not eating meat etc. It could actually help your diet, it helps you lose weight, gets better nutrients into your system, hell, it might even lift your moods for the week, you might get a kick in your step. Write a blog/ diary for your time being a vegetarian etc, and share your time on the 'health challenge'.

LiAM
Well I'm sure it'll be fun, new experience and all. Only a meat free diet though, not going to be fussy over bread or milk etc.

Kenpachi Zaraki
I honestly would, it sounds interesting, but I already have a diet plan for my Kung Fu, Wing Chun, etc, etc... And it involves meat, perhaps later. ^.^
LiAM
Ah well it would be interesting to see what kindof stuff you can come up with. There are meat substitutes after all XP Vegetables, fruit, bread, noodles... cheese... Not fish though, cos it's 'meat'.
Βyakuya
The only substitutes for meat for me would be tofu, soy and mushrooms for me.

CinnamonStar
I'm already a pescetarian. It's not vegetarian but ou eat fish instead of meat. I don't do it because it's "fun", to be different or for "moral" reasons (whatever that is), but I just don't like the taste of meat. I almost start puking when I smell steak.=/ Eating fish instead of meat isn't more ethical but I've lived well so far and I like the taste. When I'm really forced I'll be able to eat some chicken but rarely.
It could actually help your diet, it helps you lose weight, gets better nutrients into your system, hell, it might even lift your moods for the week, you might get a kick in your step.
Not really, considering that you may still eat a lot of chips and sweets and fries. Also my fried tofu isn't totally fat-free but I still like it. Mood lifts happen in your mind too. Tofu/soy is DELICIOUS though! With a lot of soy sauce and fried. I hate salad as much as steak, and carrots and stuff like that. There's the healthy kind of vegetarianism with mostly veggies and fruits and then there's my kind, that still has lots of cheese, fries and sweets. But lots of fruits and tofu too. Plus fish if you're a pescetarian, no fish if you're a vegetarian. Being a veggie for a week or 2 is extremely easy, however I'd prefer people to be vegetarians for MORE than a stupid week.=/
