♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Banish = Remove from play TY Liam Tried to think of a way to shorten the effect and it be the same thing but yea >> no luck. This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster. This card can only be Normal Summoned by Releasing 1 Machine-Type monster. You can Banish this card to discard 1 card Level 3 or lower monster from your hand and destroy a number of cards on the field equal to the Level of the discarded card. 1 of the cards destroyed by this effect must be a card you control. This card cannot be Special Summoned.

♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Releasing is the equivalant to Tributing
TheMan
So is this official new OCG or just to short the effect? I mean, I use "This card inflicts Piercing Damage" on my effects, but is this "Banish" "Release" official or what?. Anyways, this card is nice, effect can really help you in some situations, destroys 2 cards your opponent controls and 1 crappy card you Set or Summon or Activate just for this effect. Me like it . 10/
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Release is actual "Official" OCG (It's seen in real OCG cards) Banish however is just CG made by Liam to mean remove from play
TheMan
Oh I see, thx . And what about "This card inflicts Piercing Damage", I saw that on LiAM's card, and I think he said that was "official" grammar, but I'm not sure really. But that state really shortens your CG, and makes more space for more effects.

♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
I dont know. We tend to warp things into something "more american" when we recieve things from other countries =/ Anyways I prefer Release to Tribute
moppmoppmopp
I prefer tribute. Sounds à little bit more epic.
encapturer
As far as game 'flavor' goes... Tribute brings to mind a sacrifice of something valuable. You want something and you're willing to give up a monster for it. You offer your monster as a tribute in order to get your ace monter/card effect/whatever. A necessary evil, or something like that. Release... sounds more like you're letting something go. Like when you summon a monster, it's not really yours, and you release it eventually to make room for something bigger. This doesn't have the sacrificial connotations Tribute does, although a 'released' card still goes to the graveyard for some reason >_>. As an aside... if I recall correctly Release really started being used around the time 5Ds started, changing it from... 'Tribute'. As far as the card itself. ...discarding the level 3 monster is a part of the effect and *not* a cost? Odd. Seems awkward to use right now, seeing you lose this monster, a card in your hand, *and* a card on the field to destroy one or two of your opponent's cards. Would probably only fit in a deck with a bunch of level 3 monsters + machines, and even then, I'm not sure if the effect is worth it, unless those level 3 machines like being in the grave for whatever reason. The inability to be special summoned almost seems like overkill.
