If this card is Special Summoned this way destroy all Spell and Trap cards on the field. If any of your Spell or Trap cards are destroyed due to this card's effect inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of Spell and Trap cards destroyed x1000. This card can attack your opponent directly, if so this card's ATK and DEF are 500 during damage calculation. You can remove from play any amount of LIGHT-type monsters in your Graveyard to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned this way, you can destroy 1 or more Spell or Trap cards on your side of the field. ~Tainted Knight~ Tribute 5 DARK-type monsters on your side of the field to Special Summon this card from your hand. If the card is Special Summoned through its own effect double its ATK and DEF; this effect may be activated only during Battle Phase. You can remove from play any number of DARK-type monsters from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. This card gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each monster removed from play due to its effect. This card's effects may be activated during any player's turn. If there is more than 1 card on the field destroy this card during the End Phase. -~Card Knight~- This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Tribute 1 "Gifted Knight" and "Tainted Knight" on your side of the field to Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Special Summoned this way destroy all cards on the field (excluding this card). If this card is destroyed by battle all Battle Damage this turn becomes 0 and you draw 1 card. If the card is a Monster Card reduce your Life points to 1. If the card is a Trap card reduce you and your opponent's Life points to 1. If the card is a Spell card reduce your opponent's Life points to 1. Combo is to get Gifted Knight out by using its Special Effect, then using Dark Allure or something and get rid of Tainted Knight and use its effect to bring it back from the dead. Then ultimately (if your lucky) have both cards on the field and Special Summon Card Knight and its a gamble from then. Its perfect for a Ying and Yang Deck. And don't hate the Divine -you know who you are-. Of course I believe this combo is somewhat balanced because of Tainted Knights effect giving you 1 turn to get out Card Knight to gamble. Rate/Hate/Comment.
crossader
The idea is interesting, but Card Knight is extremely easy to summon actually... Turbo Synchron > Attack, you took damage, i don't care the amount > Special Summon Card Knight > It is destroyed in battle, you draw a card > the fun begins. I think the text must be fixed like this: "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by tributing 1 "Gifted Knight" and 1 "Tainted Knight" you control..." PD: Personally i don't like to read those incredibly long effects, i find 'em like not realistic. That's just my opinion.
jenofresh
Gifted Knight by himself is an OTK lol IF you have a full field + DNA Transplants(Including a Field Spell) Tribute the 5, bring him out Destroy your DNA Transplant, the 4 other S/Ts and your Field Spell 6 x 1000 = 6000 Halve it's ATK to attack Directly 4000 / 2 = 2000 2000 + 6000 = OTK
~{Rochster}~
i say gifted knight is an auto-win cuz what if you have 5 spell or traps on your side of the field. 5 x 1000 = 5000. there, its an auto-win. i think its more powerful than card knight. 2/

But it would OTK depending on what amount you play with

Mugendramon
Oh, these cards are so much OP'd. You give what you promise!
Icy
... Card Knight cannot be summoned.
Yankee
^ Are you sure about that? The first two don't say that 5 light/darks are the only way to SS them... Same for the last guy...
I'm going to assume that because I make the same mistake as him, and for the sake of balance that he means they can only be Special Summoned. Mind you, rereading this I realized you could use some convoluted Anime-like method using PoC/Future Visions/Various others that treat-bring to the field without summoning even with the prerequisites. But that's so unconventional and difficult to pull off, Card Knight might as well keep its prerequisites and instead of the rest of the effect just say "When this card is summoned you win the current Match." CMRenji
You can't have both on your side of the field. You need 5 LIGHT monsters to summon GK and 5 DARK ones to Summon TK. If you summon 1, you will not be able to summon the other one. Say I have TK on my side of the field, so I need 5 LIGHT monsters to summon GK. I have only 4 Monster Zones left and one has a DARK monster in it. IMO these cards are far too hard to Summon, and I doubt anyone would use these in their Decks. 6.7/
Yankee
^ incorrect. They don't say that those are the ONLY way to SS them. They say that is ONE way to SS them I can Monster Reborn the Light one, then use Dark's effect to ss from the grave. Then bring Card Knight out right away ;D
CMRenji
Yeah, I guess you're right. I assumed he forgot to add the "only" or something. But I really don't think that many people would use them in a Deck. Card Knight is too weak IMO. I personally wouldn't Tribute 2 extremely powerful monsters, who could make me win the Duel in a few turns, for a card that destroys itself, then gives you a good chance of losing. And if their Knights, why are they Spellcasters? Shouldn't they be Warriors? Anyway, I don't really like cards like this, so I'll stand by my previous rating.
Kuri
Hahah just realized Card Knight destroys itself, best be fixing that...I'm editing cards now.
Yankee
^ Uh...not it doesn't...It can be a BRD...or you can SS it a different way to use it's other effects ;D
Kuri
I know but taking the time to actually use the original effect and then only for it to be destroyed....actually the original effect is pretty useful and to clean up the field then you'll be able to SS using monster reborn...but 0 ATK and DEF wouldn't do much....I would say these cards would be limited...
Yankee
You can put a simple "When this card is Special Summoned this way, destroy all other cards on the field." =D And, no, these cards would all be banned...lol
Kuri
no they wouldn't just like God won't allow Ash to die I won't allow Konami to ban these
Yankee
They'd be banned. Guy with 4000 ATK that can be SS'd pretty easily, and with the way darks swarm, can become an easily summonable 8000 ATK beater with added killers? Ya...nou. That's just one of the 3. The 3rd guy basically says "When you summon this card, you win."
