Family Friendly
This deck is really reminding me of the Modest Mouse album I'm listening to right now (or, rather, every Modest Mouse album in general [shut up, Pitchfork recommended them]). It starts out pretty good, differences between tracks with a certain familiarity to the genre and the signature vocal slur of Isaac Brock. Their usual bitter self-loathing is suddenly conveyed into metaphors and symbolism - a nice change of pace from tracks on Good News for People Who Like Bad News, with pity party tracks like "The Good Times Are Killing Me" - and a stronger use of bells and hint of electronics. Nice sound. And then, the album clings to its status quo like a child to its mothers leg. Isaac gives up the effort of translation to cry into a guitar over and over. What could have been a good album takes a steep decline in quality. It just gets bad. So, what I'm saying is, your deck starts off nice, with some casual variations but a nice stick to the point (genre), but then it's bad. Just plain bad. tl;dr: don't mix fableds with beasts or your deck will be like the latter half of We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank by Modest Mouse (WHICH IS BAD)
