Well, this is just an idea type of thread for something that will be happening later.

Anyways, my friends and I are going to be making an abridged series. Not exactly like the others, though it's still a parody. We plan doing a parody show of Pokemon Fire Red video game. There is a planned 25 episodes for season 1, possibly a season 1.5 with 8 episodes planned. If it becomes pretty good (with luck), when we get done with quite a few episodes, we might discuss a season 2, which would be soulsilver/heartgold...That's getting ahead of myself though.

Anyways, we will be using a ROM and somehow we'll be recording it...That's one of the parts we're stuck on. I've already tried it out, and it did well first, then it didn't do well with the saving part. I tried to install another program to save it onto there to help out, but it became confusing. This time, I plan on starting out from scratch to get it working, with some suggestions too.

Once done with recording, we'll do voices, editing, and a little lolmagic/improvising, we'll begin doing it.

The main character will be Red, but, we didn't want him to be silent, cause we just simply couldn't pull it off that way, and we can't have him just speak in his head so everybody ignored his thoughts, so he's going to have a voice. We don't know if we'll pull it off, but we'll try. My friend will be doing his voice. I, will be doing the Pokedex's voice...Red need a companion when he was alone. Gary/Blue/Greed will be named DOUCHE, done by my voice. Proffesor Oak will also be by me, and he'll be unsmart...(he forgot his grandsons name and now believes that the name you currently gave him is his!)

And so, many episodes will be appointed. This is the pokemon list. We plan on having each pokemon be named. 3 are yet to be named:
Charizard (RAEG)
Beedrill (BREAKER)
Primeape (PRIMERAPE)
Nidoking (???)
Raichu (???)
Garadyos (???)

Eventually, we'll get this series through. The ideas have started and are now ending. It is time for my firends and I to begin creating it. And that is why I will take suggestions to make this series real (such as really good way to set up a Fire Red ROM, right files for saving/playing/recording).

And CHEW sounds good...still up for discussion though.

@Atman: Sure. Just depends on whic ones.

All I know so far is that Givonni will be done by me most likely, and Blaine = Jamie Hyneman, we'll probably have somebody with a voice like his do it.

Brock so far is up for grabs, same with Misty, LT. Surge = Arnold Schwarzenegger, done by me maybe. Erika is up for Grabs, Koga done by my friend, Sabrina is up for grabs.

And we also plan on having the ROCKET BROTHERS (If you rememebr the Silph Co operation in FR/LG, there are 4) be main characters, each with their own accent.

Mewtwo = Vegeta. And the Ghost Marowak in Pokemon Tower will be replaced by Ghost Nappa, since we can do his voice very well.

Most of this will be done by improvising...and luck. Lots of luck.

Lucky me I just so happened to find out my friend (named Joel) has tried out roms before. So with his help, we'll have this series started in no time.

Here are my ideas:
Nidoking=KINGDINO [King+Nido spelled differently]
Raichu=Churay [Chu+Ray instead of Ray+chu]
Gyarados=Garidose [Gyarados become Garidose, like overdose except its garidose]

My account is LucasMaxBrosXL...but for production means, I'm going to make another account.

Gym Leader...I'll think on who.

And I think I'll just do a quick run over on my original Fire Red. Use the same team and stuff and note certain things for material to use.

For the most part, we're going to have him in the overworld some of the time, but when he talks, usually we'll have a close up of RED in his battle sprite form upclose and move his mouth and eyes. We'll do this with a bunch of other people too.

...go on. The person who voices RED might not agree with this, but I have my ways of influencing him.

So, like what?

We plan on making an episode called "Pedo Hypno" If you every remember playing and trying to find Lostelle. Man we're going to have fun with that one. xD
