Time Psyduck Posted October 10, 2010 Report Share Posted October 10, 2010 The effect isn't bad. It's rather powerful, but since you only destroy their monsters if you attack it's not too bad. The only problem is that the effect mentions legendary pokémon as a type, which this doesn't have even though Victini is a legendary as far as I am aware. A legendary pokémon type would probably just be awkward, and you're better off giving it a boost of perhaps 100 or so from all pokémon, if you leave it with the boost at all - since it takes out anything it attacks, and is indestructible in battle, it can fight without any attack. They're running out of ideas like the victini is like a delcatty or maybe it's just the pre evolution I don't really know but I cant wait for B and W to come out. [/quote] Yeah understanding IT IS a Legendary somewhat on the same stage as Arceus (or whatever) I'm fixing its secondary type. I was planning on making it a nomi if I did continue the set. Time Psyduck Posted October 17, 2010 Report Share Posted October 17, 2010 Tsutarja seems fairly balanced aside from an issue with it's 'evolution' effect, although really it's hard to judge this without the rest of the line. You should probably remove 'you can' from the first effect - there's no real reason for having it optional other than dodging trap hole or a few deck-specific cards, and making the boost automatic is more in line with real cards with similar effects. The second effect could be a bit too powerful, unless Janovy is very underpowered. Also a warning - if Janovy has exactly the same effect to summon out the final stage it can be done in the same turn Janovy is summoned. If it's the end phase it's usually 'During the End Phase of the turn this monster destroyed a monster in battle,...' or some other condition that has to be fulfilled before you're allowed to summon the next stage. You might need to make it clearer which monster is sent (I'm guessing it's your opponent's) and you don't need the word 'Respective' unless it the effect sends both of them. Mijumaru: It doesn't need the attack bonus - most monsters that attack directly have effects that minimise the damage they can inflict, rather than increasing it.
