One Awesome Tuner

I was working on my "Divine Warrior" set. They're going to be five star synchros and I was thinking about easy ways to get them out. Shura/Vayu is a cool way...two star tuner, three star monster would be the basic route...but here's a card that does it in the most awesome way conceivable; it is both tuner and material, and can bring out a 5 star all by itself.

Lore: When this monster is summoned, place 1 Doll Token (Warrior-Type/EARTH/1 Star/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position on your side of the field. If the Doll Token is removed from the field, deal 1000 damage to the controller of this card.

The token also has other uses. You could possibly give control of this card to your opponent, via Mystic Box, and make your opponent lose 1000 in burn damage.

Maybe not the most broken ever made. And maybe not broken at all. But certainly overpowered.

All I would do is cut the level to 3 and allow the effect damage to go off only if the token is destroyed, not simply removed.

MAYBE only allow the token to be summoned if the card itself is normal summoned, as opposed to any summon. But that would be up to you, or anyone else small enough to fear the card, even after my fixes.

I don't see how it's OP. You're taking 1000 damage for a level increase of 1. It's a significant draw back; not to mention, there's always the threat of Torrential Tribute. Basically, if this is your only level 4...you get a 5 star synchro. If you have two level fours, it's a Mist Wurm. Either way, that instant 1 star is costing a THOUSAND life points if you use it.

It comes it handy, and it's fast...but it is not pure benefit. If you run three of these is a deck, that's 3000 life points lost. That's considerable for any deck.

So what if the opponent has Torrential Tribute? Players wouldn't care that much for the -1000 Life Point loss when it can provide a Level 5 Synchro Monsters like Catastor.

The Life Point loss is worth it when you can go for any generic Synchro monster that can win you the game (like Mist Wurm etc).
