You can discard 1 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to Special Summon this card if there are no monsters on your side of the field. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon' from your Extra Deck. This monster cannot attack in the same turn it was summoned. If this card is destroyed by a card effect Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster from your Graveyard, except Blue-Eyes Shining Metal Dragon, ignoring summoning conditions.

I have to admit the OCG is pretty good, but that effect is broken as all hell. Also when this card is sent to the Graveyard, wouldn't you just Special Summon it by its own effect?

I don't think so, it looks like its effect activates before it's actually "sent" to the Graveyard.

Destroyed = Sent to the Grave. So the Dragon would be in the Grave when the effect is triggered, this also happens with monstrers like Giant Rat.

People are pretty badly overblowing this card's potential, it's not broken. The original REDMD is "broken" in that case on paper, but clearly in real life, it's not a problem. Only the second effect needs work.

If it was just the first effect, people would call it stupid or boring and overly restricted.

If it was just the first and the last effect, most should be ok with it as the summoning is still restricted and the last is just a deterrent to the rampant destruction in the game (but not all threats in the game by a long shot). It could be changed to appeal to whiners, but it's really not that bad and a few changes could still allow you to keep the effect fully just by changing how or the conditions of the trigger.

So only the second effect is the only real because it's Extra Deck, so you always have access immediately to it at first turn even. If it was "Blue-Eyes" Monster from the hand or GY, no one would care. That said, it's still really not as much as people are making it out to be. It's one of those cards that walks a fine line where changes could complete cripple its effectiveness and then people will just call it stupid. Card itself still has EVERY standard and non-standard weakness known to Duelist and everything can happen that would interrupt what you are doing. It is good you tried to make something at all that could help pull BEUD and BE Shining D, just a few tweaks could appease people if you wanted to without losing your card.

I won't tell you how or if you should fix your card, that's up to you if you want to ask people for that sort of help, but I will say you should decide that for yourself because not everyone here is actually looking out for "good" designs, just a reason to comment, whine and up their post count.

Seconding Shinobi Phoenix. Restrictions on the effects should work well (by that I mean, to the OPedness level of REDMD), something like "you cannot declare attack during the turn you activate this effect"

By the way, the last effect is like that of Colossal Fighter; hopefully that's not your intention.

JESUS CHRISTO

2 MASSIVE BEATERS NEUTRAL COST BROKENZ, Summoned with that monster that has its own tutorable tutor.

Advice:

1) Lose the herpderpIplusaBEUD
2) That's it, now it's a cool balanced card that I'd happily use in Hopeless. YAY
