I was told about this years ago, but only just remembered.

Who wants to join a campaign the make the swastika be a symbol of peace again and not Nazism?

Just what really is it? A Golbat...and something looking like a Ditto, and there's a Nazi symbol? WTF? Was Japan trying to promote that kind of thing during WWII years ago?

It's not a Nazi symbol . _ .

Hitler you crazy dog, trying to confuse us with this contradictory symbol.
He turned peace into fear :D

It's quite clever. If you think about it, you can compare it to 1984. Making people paranoid of their own cultures and safety by inverting their beliefs.

Wait, what happened in '84?

And I should read Mein Kampf. Just sayin'.

It's a book, can't remember who by now!!! It influenced the show Big Brother.

And I want to read, to get his thoughts on it. 'My struggle', bold name for a strong history.

The biggest distinction really, is that the Nazi Swastika was diagonal, 45 degrees.

Whereas Indian, buddhist and other religious or racial groups kept it as normal and usually decorative, but mainly noted in its simple form.

OK you liberal idiots, they obviously banned it because pokemons primary consumers are kids, and swastikas to them and their families are a nazi sign not for peace.
Liberal idiots? That sounds like one of the biggest oxymorons I've ever heard in my life.

The problem is, the goddamn picture is not a Nazi swastika. Get a brain, or rather, get some eyes.

I think Muslim religious symbols should be banned because stupid people will associate them with WTC.

Wait, people actually think that. Why are the conservative moral guardians so insane that I can't even parody them without parroting them?

We've just found something in this topic that rivals the original censorship in stupidity.

Yes and they ban a card with a star on it's side because people thought it was a Pentagram . Honestly once people see Swastikas they think NAZI!

I believe the symbol for peace was originally developed by Buddha's or Hindu's or a religion of that matter, someone who was a part of Hitler's nation, being a clever bunny decided to tilt that symbol slightly and remove the dots, therefore giving you the Swastika.

Basically, what Dark said...

And pardon me if I'm wrong, my memory may not be serving me well.

Ah, George Orwell. Author of 1984 and Animal Farm, among others. You also forgot to mention that the show Room 101 is taken from the book.

OT: I think the swastika is only considered the Nazi Symbol when it's tipped on it's side:

But even so, it shouldn't even be considered a Nazi Symbol primarily.
