Stardust /AM would be a good choice this format, since you can generally expect your /AM to survive even when you lose, plus a lot of its core cards aren't that spammable in other decks.

Would it be like the anime where if a player loses they can still activate cards (that would normally be activateable under these conditions)? Like for example player 1 loses then uses CotH to bring out a boss monster for player 2 that would otherwise be wasted.

I suggest the following rules be added:

• If a duelist loses during their own turn, the opponent's next turn is skipped.
• If a duel ends in a draw, the game enters the End Phase of the current turn player. During the next turn, the turn player cannot attack (so essentially it is treated as if an entirely new duel has started).

What'd you think?

Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode does look like a good choice. However, that strategy will probably need 2 Stardusts (unless you're the Cloaked Duelist), so your next duelist might not have Stardust Dragon in his Graveyard if SaDDAM is destroyed. Then again, when is SaDDAM ever destroyed? inb4DivineWrathorbattle

The first rule you suggested should really say that the next turn goes to the losing player's team. That first rule might say that, but I prefer not saying that turns are skipped. That might have some quirky card interactions.

The second rule sounds good and fair. The only time that situation happened, the rule was followed, so I guess it works.

EDIT: It looks like, if the first duelist is using SaDDAM, the first duelist should use two Stardust dragons and the second should use the last Stardust Dragon. Who here thinks that spread would be okay for any team arrangement? Who thinks that Stardust Dragons should be spread differently, assuming all the decks on the team use Level 8 Synchros effectively?

Personally, I feel like bumping this with a few questions that I'd like people to answer and discuss:

• What would your team be? Why did you pick each deck and why did you pick the specific order?
• How do you spread the staples around?
• If all three decks in a team can just use 15x Generic as their Extra deck (as in, no synchros are special to the deck), how would you make those Extra Decks? Would each player have a Stardust Dragon? Would only the first two players have Stardust Dragons (the first having two, the second one)? Any other Synchros you'd specifically mention as having a specific place in the lineup?

Ice Barriers will be pro.

1st Wheeler - Ice Barriers
2nd Wheeler - [s]Ice Boundary[/s] Ojamas
3rd Wheeler - Beatdown

Or...

1st Wheeler - Final Countdown Stall
2nd Wheeler - Giant Sleeping Thud Beatdown
3rd Wheeler - Rocks

1 - FC
2 - Rocks
3 - GST

?

Basically, the first wheeler gets HH-Majin..

And then they suicide.

Rock duelist comes in, and.. Flip Summon profit?

(Providing the Taiyou set is released)

Both builds share synergy, but not necessarily cards.

I was talking about in real life. Zushin isn't real, and quite a few people have decided Final Countdown is banned this format, as well as every instant win condition except Exodius, Destiny Board, and Vennominaga.

Exodius can no longer be fulfilled without Exodia. The only question is whether or not Destiny Board and/or Vennominaga are bannable if the following rulings were added:
• When you would win the game by a card effect, instead your opponent loses the game.
• If you win while you control "Destiny Board", send "Destiny Board" and any "Spirit Message" Continuous Spell cards you control to the Graveyard. This event doesn't cause anything to activate.
• If you win, remove all Hyper-Venom Counters from all "Vennominaga, the Deity of Poisonous Snakes" you control. This event doesn't cause anything anything to activate.

So here's another topic:
What decks will do best as first duelists? What decks as second duelists? Which ones as last duelists?

Infernity seems like a fun first deck (doesn't pass along handless combo, could have a good number of face-downs to pass to next teammate when defeated). I'm not too sure about Ice Barriers as a first duelist, but I've never used any of the Ice Barrier monsters outside of the Synchros.
