Why don't they just ban this card instead of the awesome cards that it makes broken? That's like arresting gamblers but leaving the casino open.

I don't know why every single SixSam deck doesn't tech at least one of these cards.

Substitoad was borderline broken as it was, and Ronintoadin broke this. All 3 combined, they were the Frog FTK. Substitoad made it work early game, so guess which died.

Remember the old days when this card was HORRIBLE? Well, in itself, it's not inherently bad for the game. It's cards that are able to loop, like Substitoad + Ronintoadin, or the Faultroll loop and similar. This card isn't broken, it's the card enabling the FTKs. Banning this and leaving Substitoad alone would still leave Exodia Frogs and crap like that to abuse, plus they'd also have to ban Cannon Soldier, etc. Substitoad was hardly balanced in the first place, having a laughable cost to search any Frog, and being able to do it infinitely a turn.

The problem is that we will almost always have swarm loops, the solution is to defeat the FTK potential. All in all, FTKs are bad for the game [s]imo[/s] due to your opponent not having the chance to counter, unless they have D.D. Crow or Effect Veiler in their hand.
Just ban or limit this, other burn cards like Cannon Soldier can stay because they take up a summon. Bring back the swarm/deckout potential of the frog deck (substitoad), it made a mainly [b]WATER[/b] deck tier 1. However, the treeborn at 3 is still pretty good compensation for the loss of substitoad

Cannon Soldier is just a walking, more inconsistent Mass Driver. I'm not sure exactly, but Frogs can't FTK with Cannon Soldier unless they are really lucky. So banning this would be fine I think. It's a terrible card on it's own, but it promotes OTKs like crazy.
