Windows Live Messenger

LiAM

Question

I have Windows Live Messenger.

When I log in (which I always appear offline first) it's fine.

Some reason, when I first type, it freezes and spends about 15 seconds loading the text, so while offline,
I type anything into the conversation to get the chat to work properly (i.e. when I type it types at the same time).

Then I appear online.

It's fine, for about a minute or two. No matter how much I avoid conversations or start furious amounts of them, it always stops for a second then freezes and becomes (Not Responding). This is when the window turns white and I end the app. with Task Manager (before Windows closes it down).

This same happens about 3-5 times before I can appear online without any problems.

-The only solutions I've thought of would be uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but after reading a few Help sites, they found this didn't fix the problem.

The only add-ons I have WLM is: Messenger Plus!
I've tried logging in while I have no applications running, i.e. internet, games or tools. I've also tried whilst having many apps open.

What I've done to try and fix this:
Deleted all my E-Mails from Hotmail (3963) - Nothing noticed yet.

Its one of these:

1. your internet connection
I actually have a very fast internet connection and broadband.
2. your computer (too much "anime" saved? ;D)
Don't watch anime.

It's pretty much bare. Around half of the memory storage is still free.

And I've also cleaned it with the Disk Cleanup and sorted everything with Disk Defragmenter.
