Konami's whole campaign against the word "destroy" with cards like this and Starlight Road and Stardust Dragon and whatnot, combined with the release of new forms of non-destructive removal that are non-destructive pretty much purely to circumvent these anti-destruction cards, is another of Konami's clever marketing schemes to make old cards worthless so people need to run out and buy new ones. It's rather more clever and subtle than their usual practice of "Print broken stuff --> ban --> repeat".

If you're running a Six Samurai deck and this card is a dead draw due to the first sentence, it doesn't matter because you were already screwed. Seriously, of all the perfectly good reasons to not run this card, you decided to go with "My Six Samurai deck that functions entirely on swarming with Six Samurai monsters might not actually have any Six Samurai monsters available!". Brilliant.

i don't particularly see how 7tools is better than this. you guys really just try too hard. everyone here wants to 'troll' and be liked by others so hard that you say all sorts of idiot things and post memes and selections from your folder of stupid pictures. no one cares that you think you're cute or hilarious. no one cares that you can all copy each other and post the same jokes over and over. you have no individuality, no real sense of humor, no friends, and the only source of your self-esteem is copying the jokes of others and using them poorly on an internet forum where no one really gives a rat's ass about you. the fact is, 7 tools blows. hard. and this is better than it in an effective 6sam deck. so stop being a f***ing retard and post something useful.

that all being said, there's not much of a reason to run this card. maybe a side option. not much else. MBaaS is better.

7tools is meh, regardless. i can't speak for the meta but i'd probably rather have bribe, and before that a trapstun or decree. sided 7tools makes sense.

in any case, in the situation you illustrate, you imagine that you could use 7tools to respond where you couldn't use the topic card. in other words, you have traps set for a turn but have not, for some reason, played a samurai. in which case, you're doing it wrong and have already lost before we even get to this point.

I completely forgot about Bribe...and every good deck I posted last year had 3.

Concerning my previous comment about being "dead-drawy", I was referring to bad hands and the event that your opponent Dark Holes or Mirror Forces your front row, then you draw this. Kind of like Saber Hole for the Sabers.

If you're running a Six Samurai deck and you don't have any Six Samurai left alive, then it really doesn't make much difference what your last draw is; you lose. Even drawing a single Samurai probably wouldn't save you.
