It's all good. I actually have it that way on purpose. Piercing damage is the actual TCG term for that effect:

to be honest, i'm more impressed that you took the time to respond to all of your comments. As for the card, I agree with judedudemude (piercing is a slang word (lol yugioh slang), not an official term.

overall: 7.5/10 because it doesn't stand out that much.

Shouldn't it still be considered an official term since it was printed on a card? Cards in the OCG say piercing as well. Just curious.

I'm sorry Jester, I'm really old school, I didn't even know about releasing until recently.

It's all good, I still haven't seen a card that says anything about releasing. Piercing has only ever been printed on one card though, I just use it to save space. I assume people know what I'm talking about XD Thanks for commenting~

"Cards printed with similar effects in future sets and even the same set have not used this wording."

The term was discontinued after Cyberdark Horn. It was only used for Cyberdark Horn because it had such a long effect, and stuff needed to be cut so it all fit.

I'm pretty sure you can fit the other text in there.

It seems like a slow start before the Piercing effect can kick in. Effect isn't the most original and it's certainly more awkward about being able to get its effect going. Potentially, you could have a lot of trouble getting around to it's better effect, the card destruction. Especially when dealing with your basic Mirror Force-esque cards. As a card just made for the hell of it there isn't really anything wrong, but it's not particularly mind-blowing.

7/10.

It wasn't really supposed to be mind-blowing, but I might make a set based on this to make the effects flow a little better.

its been a while young jester head

(i wonder will you ever find jester body ???)

it must suck being a lifeless floating corpse head of a jester but there must be some sliver linning to it some where ......

still on your big crusher topic

im trying to keep some of my topics alive as well

(new card idea union cards of "Jester Fiend Unit Head" "Jester Fiend Unit Body" "Jester Fiend Unit Left Arm" "Jester Fiend Unit Right Arm" "Jester Fiend Unit Left Leg" "Jester Fiend Unit Right Leg")

all the body parts become equiped to the "Jester Fiend Unit Head"

the body parts give the jester head immune to spell, trap, and monster effects one inflict damage to your opperents life during every standby phase while the last one gives you life during every standby phase

"Jester Fiend Unit Head" gains attack for every "Jester Fiend Unit" on the field and gains def for every "Jester Fiend Unit" equiped to it
