Piercing damage is the actual TCG term for that effect: Read the third paragraph
<}Alpha Frogodile{>
to be honest, i'm more impressed that you took the time to respond to all of your comments. As for the card, I agree with judedudemude (piercing is a slang word (lol yugioh slang), not an official term. overall: 7.5/10 because it doesn't stand out that much. judedudemude
this is one of those wide aurge thing within yugioh all the old cards and video games never used that term but alot of the players use that term when playing or talking about the monsters that have that effect
byak
"Cards printed with similar effects in future sets and even the same set have not used this wording." The term was discontinued after Cyberdark Horn. It was only used for Cyberdark Horn because it had such a long effect, and stuff needed to be cut so it all fit. I'm pretty sure you can fit the other text in there.
snowyash
It seems like a slow start before the Piercing effect can kick in. Effect isn't the most original and it's certainly more awkward about being able to get its effect going. Potentially, you could have a lot of trouble getting around to it's better effect, the card destruction. Especially when dealing with your basic Mirror Force-esque cards. As a card just made for the hell of it there isn't really anything wrong, but it's not particularly mind-blowing. 7/10.
Dries965
nice card, and even a nice idea for an archetype theme, 9/
