Black W Mage
I'm going to assume your deck was made 2004 ish. Warrior Lady1 Sinister Serpent1 Tribe-Infecting Virus1 Jinzo1 Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning1 Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End Spells (18)2 Mystical Space Typhoon1 Heavy Storm1 Confiscation1 The Forceful Sentry1 Premature Burial1 Monster Reborn1 Pot of Greed1 Graceful Charity1 Mirage of Nightmare1 Smashing Ground1 Creature Swap3 Book of Moon1 Dark Hole1 Snatch Steal1 Scape-Goat Traps (5)1 Torrential Tribute1 Time Seal1 Ring of Destruction1 Mirror Force1 Call of the Haunted
DELTA PRIME 117
2004 sounds about right, really? I'd always found it quite dependable, though I'll admit I've never duelled any particularly skilled opponents. The reason I ask is because I'm going to start going to my local (now that I have one, there wasn't one near where I used to live) wondered if there were any minor changes I could make to improve it. Just want to know if I'm heading for some terrible defeats in my first few games against newer cards. The deck you've suggested wouldn't suit me as I've found that magic & trap heavy decks fall flat on their face with me at the helm.
Black W Mage
Just want to know if I'm heading for some terrible defeats in my first few games against newer cards.well, you would lose terribly with that in 2004 anyway... hmm. Are you on a budget? If so I can give you a decent list for $30-50.
DELTA PRIME 117
well, you would lose terribly with that in 2004 anyway... hmm. Are you on a budget? If so I can give you a decent list for $30-50. I'm not so sure I would, not against average players, granted against the more skills I would get badly beaten but that's a given really. Money isn't really an issue, but I'm fond of the cards I've already got so I'd like to build a deck strongly based on them (yes I'm a sentimental chap)A list would be interesting if it's a handful to add to/replace cards I've already got, if it's a list of someone else's deck I'm not one for copying. Any specific cards in here that you would rather focus on? say, out of the monsters 1-4 specific cards?

Any specific cards in here that you would rather focus on? say, out of the monsters 1-4 specific cards? I find a good base of adaptable cards works better for me than a single or small number of tactics. If I were to focus onto a few monsters then it'd be the first three on the list. I know Tri-Horned dragon isn't as strong as Blue Eyes and lacks any effect, but it's got style.I'll be showing up to my local with pretty much that deck next saturday. I'll let you know how well I do. (bar a few alterations to make it legal for the Advanced format)Yeah, I know that means throwing the Ring Of Destruction away sadly. Hold on, I can get you a list

Hold on, I can get you a list Yeah, the only theme I really go for is interactivity, being able to make combinations on the fly as I go without having to wait for a specific card. Cheers, fingers crossed I've got some of the cards on it, I have a modest collection, nothing new though.I'm rather fond of the older cards, but have nothing against the new ones, just haven't got any…yet

DELTA PRIME 117
well I got the list... You sure you don't have a set budget? cause if you don't it will get expensive... REALLY expensive. I was thinking of using the list to enhance my deck with as many of the cards as I can easily acquire, but the cheaper the better. DELTA PRIME 117
I'ma go for around $100. Cool, that's around £60 or so I'm told, which isn't too much, though the cards will doubtless cost more here knowing my luck.

An interesting list, I'd be curious to see how my current deck fares against it, that would be the real test after all.I shall have to test it before considering buying it, though I have some of the cards listed.Would you be interested in using that deck to take on my current one through some online means?
