[center][spoiler=Darkflare Resonator] [img]http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/8978/293562j.jpg[/img] [spoiler=Lore] [b]"Dark Resonator" or "Flare Resonator" + 1 non-Tuner monster If you use this card as a Synchro Material Monster, you can Synchro Summon during your opponent's Main Phase. If this card is used as a Synchro Material monster for a FIRE Synchro Monster, transfer this cards effect to that monster. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, reduce its Level by 1 and it is not destroyed. Therefore I will be rating Version 1. Name: I think it's great. It's a really cool name. 10/10 Pic: Awesome. 10/10 OCG: The first sentence seems odd. I can't quite place my finger on it but it doesn't [i]look[/i] right. 8/10 Stats: 1 Tribute for something that can't utilize it's best stat? I'm not particularly sure that's the best idea. 6/10 Effect: The stall could be OK while you get the monsters to Synchro Summon I suppose. ATK boost is OK. ♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥ Posted November 7, 2010 Report Share Posted November 7, 2010 Card 1 is terrible. It's worse than Emissary from Pandemonium. Tribute a monster just to get a Lv 6 tuner? One that has low ATK and Decent DEF that it cant even use because if it's switched to DEF it's destroyed? Terrible. At least with Emissary it's Lv is cut. It gets terrible stats if summoned that way but still =/ more playable than this card. Also Resonators are lower levels and are always tuners. Making version 2 non-Resonator archetype. I wouldn't use either. I gave you reasons for card 1. For card 2 it's got better stats than card 1 and it's effect isn't ridiculous, but it's effect isn't much better. All it does is stall. Maybe if it couldn't be destroyed by battle at all, it'd be OK...but of course, it's searchable with UFO Turtle, so that's a plus. When Emissary is Normal Summoned with just 1 tribute, his stats become horrid but it's Level is cut to a reasonable and usable level. It becomess like a Quickdraw only much less abusable, with this card you'd need a considerably low level monster to make anything work.
