FTW (For The Wynn) Posted November 8, 2010 Report Share Posted November 8, 2010 Well, they aren't quite lies...but they are incomplete tests. A Mensa test is far more thought provoking. This is just sort of an average IQ test level, just to give you something to work with. It isn't entirely accurate or reliable, but it does prove if you are smart, average or dumb. [/quote] 100 = Average 110 = Fairly Smart 120 = Very Smart 130+ = Genius Of course, this is simplified but it works for here. Also, yes, the Mensa test is far more accurate, but the Mensa test isn't meant to determine your IQ, it is meant to determine if you are a genius or not. It's nice if you want to get a little fun or ego boost but most of the tests focus on logic-related exercises. While there are many more aspects of what "intelligence" could be defined as. Not just logical thinking, but knowledge, wisdom, have easy or fast you solve things (don't ask me, I can't tell you what intelligence is^^) but it's hard to put all of that into an online test.:S I've met several people in real life who had a vast general knowledge, but were gullible or slowbro-ish or something like that (bad IQ tests, you'll figure...), yet I appreciated them. I don't want to spoil anyone's happiness though, it just reminded me of all those "IQ tests" I made and how I laughed into a psychologist's face several times.
