Don't care for them, at all. Nor do I mention them outside sarcasm =/... Honestly, what's the point? We're all equal. Even if it's stereotypical segregation it's still bad.

That I can agree with. We're all the same people fighting for what we believe in. At the end of the day does it really matter how we look and dress ? I think not.

I'm somewhat labeled as 'The Shy Guy' or 'The Smart [s]Ass[/s] One'. Doesn't affect me at all though.
As long as their somewhat positive, I'm fine with what I'm 'labeled' as. Don't really care if I'm labeled though to be honest.

At least it's not being bullied, etc. I hate being labeled as "emo" because I am not emo. I mean .. What is emo really ? I don't care to to much, because I know that I am not "emo", but what bugs me about it, is that they are calling me something that they don't know what it means, and it's not a very creative .. Insult we'll call it. :/

Emo was only a music style, nothing bad really, but now people have filled it with all the stereotyping crap about cutting your wrists and all. Really, Gothic Metal, or Hardcore, or anything like that is really as "dark" and "emotional" as emo.

Meh I get labelled sometimes because I sew my own Lolita-style clothing but even within the stereotype, I don't exactly fit in there so it doesn't matter.

Well if that's what makes you happy, then right on !
See .. I get called emo 'cause I care about my hair, dye my hair, style it, wear tight jeans, and wear graphic or band tee shirts. I make my own hemp bracelets as well and wear those, (my girlfriend made most of them for me). Is that emo ? oO No.

Now, for you sewing your own clothes, that's cool ! ; D

"Tomboy" because that's the style I happen to wear. So the label is actually true, and not a half-assed stereotype.
Well it's true, not a lie, and you're okay with it. So that's fine. I like tomboy's because they're not all prissy and worried about their appearance. My girlfriend is like, and I enjoy it. xD

Lollabel

I find labeling to be just a way for others to feel more positive about themselves, proving that there is always something wrong.

I'm called "Emo" "Goth" the works just because:

I listen to Death/Black Metal
I dress in a bit to a lot of black
I wear skulls
And I don't talk that much

I actually don't fit Emo for several reasons, because Emo is somewhat more of a subcultural kind of deal nowadays and it mainly means emotional. Lolwut?
So, if someone shows emotions, they're emo? By that pure logic, everyone is emo. Again, lolwut?
And the skulls. Emo's don't care about death, I hear they're more into the love is pain, etc. kind of deal, again, not me. I don't do love or whatever, cause it's just going to get too dramatic for me if I break up with someone and they're on my ass. I really don't need that kind of bs. No one does actually. I'm not going to sit there and listen to my broken up girlfriend tell me why it's over and everything and ask if I can change. No, just leave the girl.
And lastly, black. Everyone wears a bit of black, if not everyone, some. Even jocks for all I know. And if you wear black, you're emo? For the last time. Lolwut?

I do think I said enough about my own affairs and how it is in Alabama around my area. They really can be ignorant beyond belief when it comes to this kind of stuff. Just shows how much knowledge they have of the world.

Me: "The one dude who no one really hates but no one really loves" or "Yeah I know that guy, but that's it."

Except for my real friends, in pretty vague. I don't have any enemies or stuff of that sort.

As for how I dress, I wear a lot of athletic clothes. Nothing too expensive, mostly adidas or the like. Although I do have my few American Eagle shirts for picture day and the sort.

I'm apart of the popular clique. But I just love to see the expression of some nerdy band guys when I hear them talking about WoW and I know what they're talking. They freaked out especially when I told them that there was aplayer-killer runnng around the northrend of azeroth with a copy of frostmourne.

You guys make good points. I for one love to have someone to love and care with/ be with.
I am a happy person, and I too listen to metal, "screamo", black metal, and death metal.

I like to mock people talking about their WoW and stuff, but the way I do it, they get a chuckle out of it too, and they know I am teasing.

Smesh, good for you man having no enemies. (:

Skirts; Indeed. We just don't give a damn~ I mean, I do care about my appearance and sure, I like to "dress to impress" or "dress to express", but it doesn't worry me or become a major concern in my life. It's just a natural habit.

However, I do take "tomboy" pretty far. I mean, even my hair is short like a guy's and I dress in male clothing. So it's not only the way I act or anything.

I get labels of being "lesbian" too (which is really understandable), but these people need to understand that one can be bisexual instead of jumping to the alternate conclusion.

Before I became a mass "tomboy", I was always labeled as the "suffer in silence" type, which oddly, was actually a label that went on in my school xD It's the type to just keep quiet about their problems or life situations and never speak a word of them or ask for help about them. That was a pretty weird label.

JadenxAtemYAOI; LOL.

People proclaim that I'm "popular" too (which I don't believe in by the way, because being popular is so ridiculous in today's standards) and when I talk to guys and gaming girls about the latest video games out or what people think are "nerdy" anime shows and manga, they're all surprised. So then I became labeled as one of those "-equal- popular girls" who never singles out anybody of the "lower levels".

Popularity is a game I hate playing though. And when I'm labeled as "popular", I really just want to make myself less known. People have such horrible perceptions of "popular" kids these days; they're stuck up, sluts, people who date and get boyfriends all the time, etc etc. Which I'm the direct opposite of. It's really nonsense to be labeled as such.

And lol, I'm not saying you're like those stereotypical popular girls or anything, I'm just ranting on my perception of the label. It really needs to stop.

Yea. I see what you mean by the popular label. I am pretty well known. I have more haters than lovers though. I can walk down the hallways in my school and people will say, "[s]Fuckin[/s]' emo.", and people will say, "JORDAN ! <3 (:" and come talk to me. The whole slut thing bothers the living Hell out of me. I prefer when girls save themselves for someone they love. (Again, sorry for bringing me and my girlfriend up) We love each other and that's why we decided to start doing things (fooling around lol) out of LOVE. Not because she's a slut or I am a man whore. :P The labeling really does need to stop, and the people with those labels of sluts, [s]b****es[/s], etc, etc really need to stop causing those labels for themselves in order for the labels to die down. It's a two way street.

Skirts; Having more haters than lovers isn't a good thing D; You might want to get that fixed. Or actually, it's not you who's the problem. People need to get over these labels and realize who people are for WHO THEY ACTUALLY ARE. Not just a one look and decide what label to give them type of system on evaluating people. And then, we'll come to realize, that a lot of us can make better friends that way - friends who are true to themselves and other people.

And yes, I honestly believe that labeling has made school a bit more challenging. Not for me or anybody I know of, but people I hear about. Some groups can go too far and completely abuse someone of a certain label just because they don't like that type of label.

And labels need to go back to being styles, and nothing more. People need to respect one's style because that's the way one will express themselves. It's somehow getting out of hand.

"The Stoner"

Mainly due to my carefree nature.

My voice and the fact I listen to Sublime might also have something to do with it.

Unfortunately, I never had, and never plan to try drugs of any kind.

I honestly can understand it, and I don't care, make people think what they want to think.

I have my own circle of friends, still got money in my pocket.

Who cares..

I was kind of lumped into the "guys that wear black/band kids" section. I wear a lot of colors now that I'm out of high school, simply because I think I was trying to earn myself a stereotype. I like being social, but I wasn't doing a great job before...I'm much better about it now.

Liking metal and playing card games puts me in several categories, but I don't judge people based on how they dress or what they like; that doesn't mean I like the same things as everyone else though.
