The Synchro does not come out until after it is sent to the Graveyard, which, as I said, is when its effect activates.
That would be true if it said "When", as in, "it's effect activates when *Trigger*"
iAmNateXero
I was wrong on many things. Scrap dragon was a poor example, I was thinking of something like Generation Shift. But I found out that even generation shift isn't a cost. Next, you guys just made me aware that I have a lot of researching to do, as this "IF" and "when" stuff is out of left field for me. I was informed that if the translation is correct, it will be impossible for this card to miss the timing. Apologies all around.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
That "if" and "when" thing doesn't make sense to me. If the timing can change just because of that, allowing it to activate after it was sent to the gravyeard, then it would mean that any time during that turn you could use its effect. Counselor Lily says "When" in her effect, and Hyper Synchron (or whatever) says "if", but they both activate their effects when the Synchro Monster hits the field because it says it affects the Summoned monster. The timing doesn't change because of the wording of their effects.

Anbu-of-Sand
Watts like everyone else is saying. Also, OMG NOT ARCHETYPE SPECIFIC OMG LEVEL 4 TUNER OMG LEVEL 4 TUNER WITH NO CRAPPY DRAWBACK Unless you call a 500 Life Point cost a crappy drawback. Overall....pretty good. -Griffin
Oh right, also a comment on card: Level 4 Tuner with a positive effect, no drawback, LIGHT and still searchable. Not a bad card. @Nate, apology accepted, although you didn't really need to apologize - the whole 'if' thing made me do a serious double-take the first time as well. The difference is Counselor Lily applies to any Synchro, and Hyper Synchron's "if" is because its effect only applies to Dragon Synchros. You can use it for non-Dragon Synchros, but its effect won't apply.
