Since I'm now officially a 'good' member of this site (meaning I have 50 reps) I thought I'd mark the occasion as I do most landmarks I make. And I'm marking it with the shortest effect I've ever written, but one I've wanted to play with ever since I joined this site. If there are monsters that already do this, I apologize for my ignorance.

its a cool idea but yeah OP. I mean besides removing it in the graveyard from game how can you stop his attack mirror force and sak's wont work. lol as i said interesting just overpowered. Oh is Zanmato from a final fantasy game? Im not sure which one but its a weapon right?

I've never seen this effect before, but its great and effective. Just lower down the monsters ATK to 1500 or lower so it won't be too powerful, 10'

Simple, this monster can attack normally during your Battle Phase, but while it's in your Graveyard.

I suspected as much. It's fairly easy to get out on to the field or Graveyard (although I don't really want to take it's ATK below 1500 because that will make it even easier), and even though it can't attack directly, it is still probably a little too hard to stop.

And you're correct. Zanmato is from FF10, a legendary katana used by the samurai aeon Yojimbo, who's Zanmato can inflict instant death on ANYTHING!!! Will insert a youtube of it in a bit.

Anyway three potential remedies to this card's current overpoweredness:

1) This effect can only be used once. Alternatively: it is removed from play after use.
2) This card's ATK is reduced to 1500 while it is in the Graveyard.
3) Discard 1 card/pay 500 LP to activate the effect.

Personally given the theme of the card I think Life Points fits nicely. I may throw an extra destroying effect in there to keep in with his heritage, but don't want to overcomplicate it. Thoughts?

I say remove it from play after it attacks. This would make it the most useful yet wouldn't make it a retardedly powerful beatstick on its own. Fun in D.D.

I agree with the decrease in ATK, but also believe that it should have to be sent from the Graveyard from the field. Or you could make it a once-only effect.
