Guest Synergy
I vote for Smesh because I like the effect of not being able to be destroyed by battle and Mr.Spaz's card requires your opponent to have a fiend

Headmaster Monokuma
Smesh's card is more useful in general. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 2 Machine-Type monsters in your Graveyard from play. During each Standby Phase, you can pay 500 Life Points. If you do, this card cannot be destroyed by battle until the End Phase, but if this card's ATK is higher than 2500, this effect cannot be activated. That part is nice enough, maybe a low cost, but any higher and I honestly wouldn't want to activate it often. Once per turn, you can equip 1 monster on the field to this card as an Equip Spell Card. This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the Level of the equipped monster(s) x 300. This is where the card is really helpful. The only thing it relies on the opponent for is a monster, and even then it can use your own monsters. However, maybe the attack gain is too much. There isn't a limit to how many monsters you can equip to it, and from two level 4 monsters it gains 2400 ATK. Just protect it with it's effect, and it's good. However, Mr. Spaz's card is just not usable. This card cannot be Special Summoned. This maybe be part of what killed it. Maybe limit the special summon, but not just wipe it out. Once per turn, you can discard 2 Trap Cards equip one Level 4 or lower Fiend-type monster your opponent controls to this card. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can send 1 equipped monster to the Graveyard instead. The bolded is what killed the card beyond use. We have our Traps for a reason, and most of us don't want to get rid of them for an unusable monster. It relies too much on the opponent, and it only protects it from card effects. Plus, it gets run over by the Monarchs in stats, so it won't be on the field for long. Smesh gets my vote.

Headmaster Monokuma
2-0 thanks Dane :D No problem Smesh. Maybe later we could have a one on one. It's been a while for me. Is the reasoning good enough?
Smesh
Yeah, reasoning's good. Remind me tomorrow. I've done 3 today and I'm about to go to bed. (not sleep, just off my computer)
FTW (For The Wynn)
I'm going to vote for Smesh. The good Professor pretty much covered most of my reasoning, the card isn't worth playing in general because of the lack of Special Summoning and the high cost to summon for a relatively weak effect. Also, Spaz's card has a couple of OCG errors.
